You'll notice my profile says I'm 60. That works for me. (BTW, in six decades a guy might be able to rationalize lying) Fact is, I decided to count by decades. What's a little change after the round numbers. However, gotta say I like the mixing of age in this site, unlike MySpace which tries to segregate the kids from the old pervs. Not that I'm an old perv but I like having free discussion with young ppl. I know what you are saying, and I will likely interject if I think you are saying something wrong, but try to do it as dispassionately as I can - deferring to your possible inexperience. But, I enjoy listening to young ppl. Some of it is perennial (Yes, I was there once) and some of it is unique to your time and place. Which is the beauty of this site. I have lots of life experience. In some cultures we old farts are actually respected for that. I have already given some young folks advice on health, sexuality and basically let them know what not to sweat. I lived in the dark ages when sexuality was in denial and no one gave us info on anything. So, hopefully I can add my experience to this generation's questions. I have grandchildren your age and my youngest has taken vacation trips with me for the past four years since he was 13. I enjoyed the many hours on the bus or train that we got to share our lives. I gave him some info on stuff that he COULDN'T ask his mom. For a while he kept calling me asking questions and I think he was just testing me against Google to see if I really knew what I was talking about. :H
Gad, how time zips by. This thread was bumped from a year ago. Back then I was just counting by decades but now have added the change to my age (and had my profile fixed to reflect that). I am actually 64, but only for a couple more weeks. I don't want to get old, but what's the alternative?
