time is those little numbers on a clock or watch that tell you what time it is. stop thinking about it so much

As human beings we can question things about the world around us, so why not think too much?

uh time isn't consciosness (so i spelled that wrong) it is a natural phenomenon. i mean everyone experiences it. everything experiences it.

also explain why high gravity bends and distorts time?

Time exists, so everything won't happen at the same moment.

Without human consciousness the earth and the rest of our solar system would still do it's thing. So it seems to be a natural phenomenon.

I would add that each moment is entirely new while being patterned on the previous moment. This is what allows us to change our minds. To have a future result different from the past, we change our mind in the present.

We are always slightly removed from present time...We simply don't have the speed!
Considering synaptic delay times(typically 0.3-0.5 ms), our experience of the 'present' is really only a memory...

PS: This is only a clinical analysis.I believe there are ways to truly experience the present, 'get up to speed' so to speak, but the methods are extremely esoteric... wadda ya think 'dope?

Time was given units so we'd know when we were late for an appointment.

How come us users with the bigger pile of calenders have to figure this stuff out all the time?

Time is an intrinsic component of energy. All energy is movement. Movement can not exist without time and time can not exist without movement.

So basically time is a measure of relative motion? without the movement/energy of a single particle in space there would be no time.. hm.. how we perceive time is so fascinating

Time is a measurement of entropy.

This is correct. At absolute zero (which you can't actually get to), there is no movement, thus no entropy, and time has no effect inside the affected area.

  17. I wonder how much the amount of change occurring in the environment effects time -- if you decrease the amount of change and one's perception of time seems to move more slowly, or not pass at all, if it's literally slowing down or if that's just the illusion. Like if you were in a sensory deprivation chamber with just a bell that rang intermittently. If you were in there for hours, what would happen?

It seems to me time would still pass in that particular case. So, it would be an illusion if the person in the chamber would experience time standing still.

consider teleportation as a fact ? i do . so i gotta wonder about
space/time . is time is relevant to that kind of motion ? of space ,
    i 'm persistent in supposing there's a binary dimension - and maybe
i've had a glimpse within the other one . light seems to move very slow
there and light as form exists ... i can't draw that form very well since
its what an artist would see as 4d .

Seen this done on a show before. They were deprived for something like a half hour and they only thought 5-10 minutes passes by. So their perception of time was slower. Time was going by a lot faster than they thought. Time seems to go by faster every year we age - slowing down, more same old shit, not as many distinct memories.... then you look at a calender and "shit, where did the month go".
