what is the way to your heart?

I mentioned in another thread that if you can get a girl to laugh, you can get her to do anything...
so in a way, laughter is the way to some women's hearts..erm or pants

then there's men
there's the saying "the way to a man's heart is through his stomach" and I'm certain people agree with this


so what are some other ones? what is the way to your heart?

my stomach, making me laugh, being supportive, kind, peaceful, awesome...lots of things

 

I have heard it said that Women fall in love with their ears,and Men fall in love with their eyes.

 

Same/Similar outlook on life and the set of values, great level of understanding, sense of humour, things like that.

 

A kind,gentle,loyal,forgiving...Oh sorry,she only exists on the other side of heaven.

 

Chivalry.

 

Showing intelligence without being arrogant, having similar views in terms of what kind of person they are and want to be, similar morals, ability to make me laugh, passion, and a love of real, good music (what I consider that to be, anyway). Oh, and an interest in weird things like A Clockwork Orange, and dark humor. I'm getting too specific now. lol

I open the door for my girlfri, odd because the last one was a bit to feminist. So I don't need a man bla bla bla....all I did was open a door for her... i open doors for everyone. Luckily my fiance likes to be treated like a lady

 

Opening the door for your lady in itself is not by any means a sign of chivalry. It merely means you're courteous toward your partner. Funny, I seem to recall posting replies on the topic of chivalry just a little while ago..... lol

When I am having trouble opening jars, I expect the guy to step in and say "let me get that"..

but, yes, chivalry seems to have lost it's meaning..

 

Chivalry is about rescuing princesses from dragons and stuff right...Don't know if I'm up to that...But I sure have opened a few jars in my time.

 

Or was that rescuing dragons from princesses...

I suspect so, lol.

Chivalry, in a nutshell, was the moral code that knights used to live by. It dealt with loyalty toward the king and the church, being capable in the battlefield, being courteous, honour and respect, yada yada.

 

so about the jars, I've come across a few guys that seemed to be annoyed when asked if they could open a jar...

then there are the guys that see someone struggling so they just step in and grab the jar with a big smile on their face and open it, I find that attractive


and the mentioning of princesses amongst chivalry, that could be applied today, I think , in the sense that, you should treat your lady like a "princess"...pamper her and make her feel special... (massages!!)


so I'd say pampering is another way to the heart
