What is the most exciting thing you did in the last 24 hours?

I woke up.

Having spent all Sunday sicker than a dog (exactly how sick does a dog get?). I spent 6+ hours losing it from stern to bow, seemed like every hour on the hour, and I NEVER imagined I ate THAT much food. Damn. Now my herniated disks in my cervical and lumbar regions are shooting full of pain. Chest muscles, full of pain. It takes a hell of a lot to get me to cry, but damn, I was crying.

 

Drove about 3 miles up the road to the grocery store...no problems. Go to the car to leave and it wouldn't crank, wouldn't even turn over.

Had to call my mechanic's shop. They came right away and it was the battery. The corrosion on the right terminal was about 3" high. The dude told me that in 30 years of working on cars, he'd never seen anything like that. lol He described it as looking like a Christmas tree. But my car is clean, I say! He said I needed to make sure and notice if the battery terminals need cleaning, too. lol

So...I had to get a new battery and new terminals.

 

next time, scrape off the corrosion and pour a soda pop on the terminals. I betcha it'll start (next time).

 

I had my friend Banjo round to record a few songs.Since then I've been figuring out some lead guitar lines to lay down on top.Fun times.

 

Played my favorite video game and ate some good lasagna. So sad. lol

I defeated the Wyvern Khezu on Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, clearing the Urgent Quest and opening access to Level 3 star quests. Shit has gotten serious now, no more jay kay'n around with bird Wyverns.

 

i pee'd around 12 times...maybe more

I had two things that are not the ordinary for me happen.

I picked up my friends ashes today to take them to the plane. I stood there at the side of my car and automatically clicked the trunk on my toggle. I started to giggle as I thought I can't put Bob in the trunk. It was one of those moments that you wonder where your head is. He rode in the passenger seat.

The second is that my daughter turned 19 today. I have no clue where the time has gone but it went far too fast. I told her I was picking her up after her classes at University to take her out for her first legal drink. I had arranged for a bunch of her friends to already be at the pub where they usually go to play darts, so she was thrilled and surprised. I left my Visa so the evening for her and her friends is on me. That made her even happier.

It was a good day!
