    Yeah I've been convinced.

Apple pie and Jell-o seem like the most American.

most american food? legit, honest to goodness american grub? invented here, served here, loved here?

it may not be the most widely eaten food in america....but it is definitely "typical" of the american fast food culture, and as far as i know is found nowhere else in the world, with a slight possibility of them spilling up north into canada.

behold the greasy, nasty, philadelphia cheese steak in all its glory:

    ohhhhhh, sweet nectar:drool5:

i'd choose a good philly over a burger ANY day of the week

It is... these people are in denial....

When I think of Canada I think of maple syrup. :D Mmm.

It's so much better then that bullshit syrup they try to pass of as good.

i know! i had to double check, but their menu is online and its the first item:
    http://www.penn-station.com/menu.php

    so gross.

i mean, the food isnt awful....
but i mean, i'd have to go in there and say all i want is the meat and cheese and onions....and do you have any green peppers instead of banana peppers??

its wierd...not a fan of having to make such specific requests to get something as simple as a fucking cheese steak!

its one thing to say "no mayo" or "no mushrooms"

but "no mayo, mushrooms, pizza sauce, mustard, or banana peppers" seems a bit much.

No shit... if you were in a hurry and forgot something that would really suck, especially the pizza sauce, mayo and mustard, the rest I think I could deal with....

the pizza sauce I really don't get at all... I mean, seriously?

Then again they make steak pizza now don't they?

    Eat it and its free!

Does not matter WTF it is.

If you can force it down your gullet in x hours for it to be free, this is America!

Yuck, but we have Philly Cheese Steaks in DR.

I said the BLT because it's the one thing that they have in the least amount of places back home.

something with some sort of sauce smeared all over it... no wait, not smeared... actually some kind of chopped meat floating in some overly salty/or red/ or sweet sauce.
