My first username was "fany89" (my nickname and my year of birth), very boring. One day I couldn't stand that boring name any longer and wanted to change it into something like Rain or Summer or River or whatever. I really liked Rain, but of course it was already taken, so I picked rain_in_summer which connected my two favourites. By now, I have thought of some interpretations of it and all of them seem to fit me in a way. The three main ones: - Rain in summer is welcome if the summer's hot and it's a nice refreshment, but if it rains all summer people tend to not linking it. - A lot of people like me, think I'm funny and smart and friendly and whatnot, but hardly anybody seems to be able to stand me longer, for whatever reason. Well, it's gone better with the time. - The second thing only refers to the rain: I am happy, nearly "high", then I fall fown (rain), then the sun calls me again, my mood rises, then down again... A never ending circle. - Like most (all?) people I have a sad, depressed, thoughtful side (the rain) and a happy, cheerful, light one (summer). And I just love the connection of "rain" and "summer" in one name and the sound of it! - Is that enough of explanation?
Blomman means 'the flower'. Some friends used to call me that when I first registered (6-7 years ago - never realized I've been around for so long!). So I just decided to keep it when I re-registered recently.
Funny you mention that. Everytime I try to concentrate thinking free, I also keep returning to that philosophic metaphor in my thoughts too. Did Plato actually describe the ontological truth by thinking ideals? love and understanding, noose.
Soft speech produced without full voice. Something uttered very softly. A secretly or surreptitiously expressed belief, rumor, or hint: whispers of scandal. A low rustling sound: the whisper of wind in the pines.
