Whoa !!! - Blackberry GIN !!! You'll need a large Kilner jar, with an air tight lid, 1 Kilo white sugar, cheapest bottle of Gin you can find in supermarket, wooden spoon. Place about 1 Lb Blackberries in Kilner jar, empty all the sugar over the Blackberries, pour as much of the Gin over the Blackberries as possible to completely fill kilner jar to within 1/4 inch from top. With handle of wooden spoon, gently stir. Repeat at frequent intervals throughout next 2 - 3 days until all sugar is thoroughly dissolved. Replace lid firmly on jar and store in a cool dark place for 2 - 3 months. ** If you do this now, the Blackberry Gin will be perfect for Xmas !!!
I have a tendency toward routines, and as such I usually buy all the same things all the time. Thus, my latest purchase was a cup of coffee from Starbucks as it typically is most mornings.
