I used to go to a lot of local punk shows. There was one ska band that always played the same shows with my "skate punk" friends. I'm pretty sure if you listen to ska without smiling you are a member of Al Qaeda. Ska makes me happy. I dont need to listen to it all the time but when I do it makes smile.
yeah I don't listen too much anymore but ska punk is definitely still one of my favourite genres when done right. I love LTJ, [spunge], spankboy, stuff like that
I listen to more regular punk. Rancid has been one of my favorite bands since the 90s. They have a hint of ska sometimes but not as much as Tims first band, operation ivy. I love social distortion, dropkick murphys, flogging molly. Bacially if you add bagpipes to anything I will listen to it. Music is my thing. I love all kinds of music but punk is my favorite. The Gaslight Anthem is a great band too. I love everything they have evr done and they are one of the best sounding live bands i've ever seen.
There's a lot of great quality ska out there ^_^ Now, the last track I have listened to though is... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8JdCP7vPUQc"]The Beatles - Can't Buy Me Love - YouTube
