seat leon TDI good miles per gallon bought it to replace a VW that I drowned in a flood They are basically the same car :scholar:
It had one fairly expensive glitch w the pump that pumps coolant to the engine which was very annoying but other than that it hasn't had anything else wrong w it at all so far. Love how it is for gas (for a small suv) because as long as you don't have the AC on max it'll run on electric sometimes for up to 35 or 40 mph... although usually only until about 30 mph or so. So it's great for driving in town/city streets and stuff and great for road construction and all that type of stuff.
That's cool. I used to have an escape. I liked it, but I didn't like the room in the back seats. They don't make the hybrid anymore in the escape. Just the ecoboost engine which gets about 32 miles per gallon. The fusion and the c-max now have hybrid/energi, so they can just run on electric without using any gas for 21 miles.
i didnt check the mileage it had been sitting for a while and needed too much for safety...i bought it solely for making a quick buck flipping for scrap value and catalytics
Yea, I've actually never seen another hybrid of the Escape although I see the same vehicle all the time in same color and all (red) but haven't seen the hybrid. And then I did end up reading that they don't make them anymore. From what I've read the people who have had them have really liked them and had no problems EXCEPT that damn coolant pump to engine.... A LOT of them have had that problem. You'd be driving down the highway and the triangle of doom would come up telling you to "pull over safely now" and it would stop running on gas and run on electric- it would go down to like 30 mph on the freaking highway... you'd pull over.. .it would tell you to stop vehicle. You stop it, restart it and it's fine again. For about ten mins, then repeat. Was annoying as all hell and cost about a grand to fix. From what I've READ that has been the ONLY prob ppl have had w that vehicle so hopefully now since that is fixed it'll be smooth sailing...cause I really do like the vehicle, but I did NOT like that. Enough to drive you nuts there.
MINI Cooper. Bought in last December and gave it to my wife for xmas. (Always wanted to do that one day...I hide it at a friends house and just let her unwrap the key fob...that was awesome!) Anyway....39 mpg, 9/10 safety rating, supposedly tops out at 142 mph but I have no intention of testing that out.
every place is different i dont believe anyone from california doesnt know what catalytics are :clown:
I bought a 2010 Jeep Compass in February 2010. We financed. I love it. I'm a Jeep girl. It's the 2nd jeep I've owned and I think I'll probably always drive jeeps.
2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. It’s starting to get up there in miles so I’m thinking of trading it in for new vehicle. I've been looking at a Dodge Challenger but If I buy it I just know everyone is going to be thinking mid-life crisis Hotwater
i bought a 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe for $9,420 (+ taxes and fees), less than a month ago. i paid "cash" (meaning i put $2,000 on each of two credit cards, which i will pay off as soon as the bill comes, and wrote a check for the rest)
5 speed 97 Toyota 4runner with 230,000 miles. Runs like a champ. I'll hit 240,000 in a week or so. Needs new brake pads. other than that... solid. This kid in a VW Golf was tailing me for a few miles and was pissing me off. Then he tried to pass and I stayed in my 3rd gear and hit the gas and he never matched my front wheels after he shifted. We were doing 75 when he backed off. Toyota power!
Also never buy a VW car. Just ask your local mechanic as they love them cause they make so much money off the pieces of shit. Unless you buying a old school bug made out of solid steel.
