It's your sig -'The road of excess leads to the tower of wisdom' - this is a misquote from William Blake's 'Marriage of Heaven and Hell' from the section entitled 'The Proverbs of Hell' The correct version reads 'The Road of excess leads to the palace of wisdom'. Not trying to be nit picking - but I am a great admirer of Blake's works and it irritates me to see them misquoted.
How do you know that I know that Jesus 'became' Christ? I never said it was anything more. I said "I view the Devil as a personification of doubt." Why should Jesus Christ have to prove anything to us? If he thinks he does then he must doubt that he and God are already perfect. Why improve on perfection? He wouldn't, Daughter of God.
In your first sentence you ask how I know Jesus became Christ. How do you know I know that Jesus became Christ? Your second sentence: What if he always was Christ? Then he never became Christ, of course. What if he became Christ? So he doubts God's perfection in order to teach us. What has he to teach us, then? Am I the one who is denying Jesus Christ, or you? Why do you keep pointing that gun at me? Jesus isn't a weapon. I never said he wasn't the Son of God. You asked why he would be called the Son of God if he was not one with God. Why would you be called the Daughter of God if you were not one with God? Does being called something necessarily make it so? My opinion is that Jesus came to realize that he was one with God and tried to convince others that they are one with God too. God deserves the credit for all things; why would Jesus want you to think he was special?
A strange kind of response. And actually, if you want to misquote Blake or anyone else your obviously free to do so. How credible that makes you seem is another question.
I'm not trying to be mean, exactly. It just happens to also appear that way. It's my opinion that he came to realize that he was one with God. If this isn't so then he always knew he was one with God. That's all. If there is a way to quote someone without using their exact words, do tell. That is your opinion and you're welcome to it, of course. I know about me too. Do I offend anyone? Not to my knowledge. I wouldn't care if I did. Does that offend you? Do I do wrong? Of course not. Do I make evil things? Never! *does not roll eyes* It seems as though my goodness offends you. haha "Guns" are a popular metaphor for 'making a sword out of your point of view' so to speak. And as you say, Christ is the 'key weapon'. Yes I know, Daughter of God. I prefer knowledge, sis. My own mother loves all of her children equally, but says I am her favorite person. I am the youngest of three. You read "Finnegan's Wake". *L*
For that matter I might offend an insane person by wearing purple on Tuesdays, so what would you have me do? Not exist? If my existence offends anyone I can't be held accountable. If I offend you I would suggest that it is your reaction to me which you find so offensive rather than anything I have done. I have no immediate recollection of making Nephilim or giants, but I have no immediate recollection of yesterday. I make no apologies! I have desirable or positive qualities, yes. lol No...I don't think you've literally got a loaded gun pointed at me there. It would be hilarious if you did, though. No more so than anything. No, because they're the same thing. The intelligent person takes care of their soul. Sometimes this coincides with reading books. No, I mean that being the first born doesn't necessarily make you the most beloved. "No man cometh unto the Father, but by me" -- In other words, no man realizes his divinity except by following Jesus's example. Did Jesus bow to any man? No, he bowed only to God. Or...he didn't always know he was one with God, but came to realize it later in life. I'm not contradicting anything you're saying here except for that, really. Yes, God is everything. I have no problem with that. On the contrary I love that. Ariel? My name is Andy and I only get basic cable. I watch a lot of Matlock and Roseanne. The future belongs only to God. "I'm sorry for us. The dinosaurs roam the earth." -- Radiohead (Where I End and You Begin)
I wouldn't. Only insane people can be offended, and who can't? The truth offends and in such case to offend is help enough, for the truth shall set you free. Mostly I was just making a joke...I found the image of someone getting angry at me for wearing purple on Tuesday funny. "What are you doing?! Take off that purple shirt! Don't you know it's Tuesday?!" People bring up subjects all the time. That's no reason not to discuss them. You brought up the subject. If one finds my qualities desirable they must view them in a positive light. Anyway, I was just reciting the dictionary's definition of 'good'. You think you can truly be an intellectual and not comprehend the existence of the only important thing there is? You can memorize the Library of Congress and not possess a strong intellect as far as I'm concerned. I don't know why you're arguing with me. I didn't contradict anything you just said. There is no divinity outside of God...so I wasn't speaking of any 'individual divinity' because none exists. I'll forget whatever I want to! No, necessarily so. All intelligent people care about their souls. No, we are not. It is our 'choice' to bow, in so much as God wills it to be so, and we do it out of love and respect for our creator. Though make no mistake: This is a dictatorship. Real knowledge comes from and is within everything. Everyone is born to fulfill God's plan. Does everyone know they are one with God? Now you do. No, I've never used the internet. What about Judas Iscariot's Gospel? I'm not all that interested. The future is a reality as a perception of humanity's. And you know in what sense I'm talking about, so don't be difficult or do. That future, as in the 'time' after what is occuring 'now' belongs to God, just as the present and the past do. Once? What do you mean? The past doesn't exist, for the future doesn't exist. I am still a dinosaur. *roar*bite*claw*
We are the devil, Because we have created him. It is the personification of something we have had difficulty understanding, Just another illusion we inact.
God is no different than the devil. Just another personification of a force we did not, and do not comprehend yet. (At least for a majority of people.) But we're talking about the Devil for this topic, right?
If it makes you happy to believe so, do. I wouldn't, but that doesn't mean I'm trying to offend anyone. I don't know if I offend anyone, and like I said...if I offend someone I tend to think it's themselves they are offended by and not me, because I haven't done anything wrong. Do you know everything? If not then you are not truly living in reality, and thus you are not sane. I'm not being disrespectful. The sanest a man can get is to admit that he's not, and that isn't a lot. Me! No, the truth does offend. If your friend tries to deceive you and I point out that he is doing so, will he take no offense? More often than not he will. It's not my fault that everything is forgiven. That doesn't imply that there are no consequences for your actions, anyway. God has allowed you the 'freedom' to injure yourself. Is God not your friend? Why be religious at all if you aren't going to make any attempt to emulate your creator? Live a lie: You're free to injure yourself. I am only telling you the truth because I am your friend. Better advice: Don't tell others their thoughts. If I see fit to lighten things up a bit I will. It wasn't a ruse. I'm sorry if you don't get my sense of humor. Some people may find negative darkness in my desirable qualities? If they desire darkness then it must be a positive thing for them, at least in so much as they enjoy it. As far as the truth goes dictionaries are always wrong in every language. If you don't want to we don't have to make sense anymore. I'll love you whether we make sense or not. Umma gumma jooba! George Bush is your example of an intellectual? Comprehension is best without verbalized thought. Nothing is outside of God. Jesus was, according to himself, one with God. For future reference, just assume that I always believe God is everything, because I do. Again, George Bush is your prime example of an intelligent man? And how do you know that George Bush doesn't care about his soul? If bowing necessarily makes me a slave to God's will, then I am a slave to God's will. Therefore all of my words belong only to God, and I tell you I bow out of love and respect for my creator. It is your perogative not to humble yourself in this fashion. Sometimes when he's trying to be funny. It is just respect. Of course not. But you haven't proven that Christ's mission entailed that he be born knowing he is one with God rather than realizing it later on in life. Yes, I know. No no no, you're wrong. When I was a boy...everything was riiight... Really. I'm not even thinking about this conversation right now. My words are simply manifesting themselves as an aspect of my pure being. I did see on some news show that, apparently, Judas was just doing what Jesus told him to do. I'm not interested because "What's new?" Nothing's changed. It's not like Jesus was going to be angry with him either way. If people get off thinking, "Oh wow. Maybe we were all wrong for hating Judas" that's good. I'm sure it does feel nice to have one less person to hate. We're free to believe we do. Growl? I am not familiar with this wheel of which you speak.
It's not a matter of how I feel or not. By saying, "You are the devil", the implication is that you have created the Devil. I do not argue the existence of the divine or of the spirit, but that's another matter. Once we start to understand that we weave both reality and illusion, we can begin to discover the wonder and beauty of the spider's web.
NO. Some are not Light is one thing and Darkness another but both contribute to The Light. ♥ LOVE ♥ IAO |o| Ø
Yes. And why not in a human body? Lots of people are REALLY MEAN. Some don't have even feelings... ♥ Love ♥ IAO |o| Ø
