Science like any human enterprise is fallible, but it's the gold standard in providing reliable knowledge, subject to revision with further evidence. Given a choice between scientific findings and the conspiracy theorieses of the My Pillow Guy, QAnon, 4-chan,or some MAGA cultist , I'll take my chances with science. Science has come a long way from Ptolemy, if you can call his theories that. Science, to its credit, has been revise many times, unlike "Scientific Creationism" which clings to the worldview of the early Iron Age. Where do you get your half-baked information? Capitalizing your arguments doesn't make them stronger.

Ok so then you agree your attempt at making the point is moot.
If you care to look at the link you would discover I capitalized nothing, I copy pasted the title of article with no modifications.

Your complaints are reminiscent of someone who has lost the initiative.

Because of their Christian convictions, the Kleins declined to design and create a custom cake to celebrate a same-sex wedding. As a result, the State of Oregon punished them with a $135,000 penalty and a gag order.Jul 9, 2022

Obviously striking a great balance between private and public.

Demanding the Kliens bake a custom cake for the gay couple forces them to commit a crime (accessory to sin) against their God.

Lots of off topic diversions here is that the purpose of your posts?

Why are you restating my positions incorrectly (and with no quotes using the quote function) is it your objective to misrepresent me?

I said it comes from a political scientist, David Eastman, not the U.S. Constitution. The Constitution isn't a political science treatise. Since I explained where I got the quotation, your question seems strange. Easton's characterization of politics as "the authoritative allocation of values" has been described as" the most widely known and used definition of politics".
    David Easton - Wikipedia
Isaak, Alan C. Scope and methods of political science, rev. ed. Homewood, IL: Dorsey Press, 1975, 19–20.

Easton's definition originally appeared in his book The Political System: An Inquiry into the State of Political Science (1953). The exact quotation is:"Political science is the study of the authoritative allocation of values for a society."
See also his (1965). A Systems Analysis of Political Life. New York: Wile
Political system is that system of interaction in any society through
which binding or authoritative allocations are made.”

Not at all, I am pointing out you have no justification for those theories unless you can go to the constitution and prove up the claims. I dont see that happening.

Im sorry but I dont see "reasonable balance" on the part of government and you seem to feel its ok for the government to disrupt and destroy peoples lives forcing them to fight for their rights out of pocket while government violates their rights using taxpayer money.

Its easy to post grandiose ideology of purpose but reality is an entirely different story.

So this government checks and balance the government can do whatever they want using out tax dollars and its checked by individuals forever suing the government out of their own pockets to fight for their rights.

Clearly checks and balances does not mean they police themselves.

    How about some equal rights?

How about we bill private rights suits against the government on the public account so its all covered under the tax rolls?

From the above it appears its the government believes it the duty of government to violate our rights not protect them, this is a small sample, there are hundreds more suits out there, even judges are attacked for their religion.

How awful! But they would have the option of getting out of the wedding cake business if they can't conscientiously serve all members of the public. They had their day in court . Too bad they lost.

Well, if that's what you think, you have no justification for posting on a discussion forum--because the idea you just expressed is ludicrous. You seem to be saying that everything of importance about political science is in the U.S. constitution. The Constitution is not a political science treatise, and Easton is providing a definition that is generally applicable to all political systems. Did you graduate from college? High school? Eighth grade?

What a disappointment for anyone wanting a cake made for a celebration going in all happy and then being refused the service for whatever reason …it would tick anyone off

    Ludicrous?
Thanks for admitting your claims have no basis under constitutional law.

as I pointed out earlier business can legally refuse to do business with you for virtually any imaginable reason but religion.

That seems to be law that is being implemented contrary to its intended purpose or maybe not.

AFAIK demanding someone commits a crime against their God in support of nothing more than simple 'commerce', and the fact that these gay gals could drive one lousy block down the street to another bakery is a travesty of grossly severe government overreach.

The apologetic accommodation case Tishomingo posted earlier does not apply, the gay gals were not in imminent danger.

What gives the gay gals religion a higher priority than the Christian bakers religion?

If we go into business does that mean we have to give up our allegedly protected rights for general commerce as Tishomingo appears to be claiming here?

Religion is also a nonprofit organization so once you start mixing revenue with charity that’s the slippery slope in exchange of hands —

Religion that is commerce is not really any type of religion ..but rather business since religion is set as a non profit and charity …it’s one way or the other not both

You're digging yourself in deeper. The claim that I made is that Professor Eastman defined politics as "the authoritative allocation of values", which he did. The notion that somehow every statement about politics has to relate to the constitution or constitutional law is, as I said, ludicrous. Let me use another word that is applicable: crazy, something a nut would say. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume it was a brief mental lapse.

    yep and theres the rub!

It becomes joined when the government writes and imposes law that discriminates against religion.

    the government created the problem.

again both the gays and the Christians had religious rights outside commercial law.

Rights trump privileges, or at least thats the way it used to be when we created the Bill of Rights.

Whats ludicrous is the notion that eastons opinions trump the bill of rights whats surprising is that anyone in america would support unconstitutional laws.

that and ad hom attacks which means calling me names only demonstrates the weakness of your position. I gave you the opportunity to demonstrate its constitutionally viable.

Why do you think people are required to give up their moral compass (iow 'religion') to work in this country?

I thought the Bill of rights was supposed to protect your religion not trample it and destroy your businesses that take people years to build?

Do you have a reasonable explanation for that position?

Still name calling I see, and I bet you think thats a good substitute for proving up your position and a good way to convince people your positions are valid. ;)
