Is anything REALLY random or are we some sort of puppets? Is it stored in our subconscious, like a GPS, leading us where we're supposed to go? ...
I've always been a very random person. What you see is not what you get with me. If you see dark hair you get a stupid person much like a blonde >.> it's a fun trait! my partner always tells me how much she loves the randomness especially my spontaneous random comments and stuff I talk about. Makes me feel warm.
Yay! =D I think so too otherwise what a bunch of boring sods we would all be and I won't be like that!
That looks like my wireless network name and password. I use a couple iOS apps that reliably generate pseudorandom sequences of an arbitrary length to use as secure keys. 9]HXlcS$*fvyGL=%MT!}?7TOv.%qW3 ...
isn't it simpler to just type in a legitimately random sequence than to download an app and tell it to type in a random sequence for you?
I find the app to be reliable at generating pseudorandom sequences of a set length. You can also specify what character set (uppercase, lowercase, numbers, symbols or any combinations). Usually use 12-15 characters .. more than that would be even better, but I know my network is is among many less than secure networks on my block (they are much easier targets for wardriving, mine is probably the hardest one) I'm also quite sure that these sequences contain more entropy than something I might come up with myself, plus I just like the apps. The encryption password on my harddrive I did create out of my head though...do I think it really matters? not really As long as its not something that's gonna be susceptible to a dictionary attack... Theres this network somewhere close to me that I always see, the name of it is "Answer to Ultimate Question" ... that kinda name is one that might make somebody curious enough to try to attack it so I don't even broadcast my name.
the incidence of neutrinos passing the plate of a neutrino counter is pretty random. it is said that the occurrence of cosmic ray particles is fairly random too.
