That little turd. When this is everywher, he'll sincerely apologise for letting fans down with his drug problem, and go into rehab for marijuana addiction.

but he probably can't just claim to smoke mad blunts, because his record label probably calls a lot of the shots... he's a big ticket. he's got to realize that this isn't really within his image. and that his prime selling point is little girls (who's parents probably don't approve of his pot smoking) and he's got to keep his image within the range of people who would actually buy his music.

 

I don't see anything wrong with supporting people who take a courageous political stand, even if their music sucks dick.

There are plenty of people who play questionable music, but who are still doing good things with their image. And who knows, maybe at some point he'll grow a pair, and say fuck off, I'm calling the shots. He's actually got some serious clout, if he used it, and used it right. It's true that his type tend to grow up and vanish, but he's still at the very top of the game, being groomed to go on into other showbiz, or adult pop, or something. If he suddenly wanted to smoke pot and make good music, I think it would work.

 

Sounds like big ifs to me and supporting a stance is something else than becoming a fan. I could never be a fan of someone who's music sounds like everything I don't want to hear, no matter what cool actions he did on the side.

i'm afraid i don't quite know what there is about him that makes anyone notice he exists. i don't mean that in a bad way either.
or any other actor or actress for that matter.

people who write stories i like i can understand. people who draw pictures i like i can understand. even people who compose music i can understand.

but actors? what's that? its a skill, its a craft, sometimes a well paid one, but it isn't a creative art. that's what writers and technical people do.

i'm not saying i can't admire someone who happens also to act, for something they do outside of acting, like supporting political causes i'm interested in.
i'm not aware of this person doing so, so i have no reason to have noticed him. people mention his name all the time, and i know he's been in movies and stuff.
i'm not saying anything against that, just that its not something that affects me and i don't see any good reason why it should.

he doesn't annoy me in the least. corporate media annoys me. regardless of who the pay to stand in front of a camera and make faces.
