What is Hippy Nature?

Truckin, like the do dah man, once told me you've got to play your hand, sometimes, your cards ain't worth a dime, if ya don't put them down. Sometimes the lights all shinning on me. Other times I can barely see. Lately it occurs to me, what a long, strange trip it's been. That is hippy nature. :2thumbsup:

Hippy nature is enjoying watching soap bubbles float though the sunshine.

 

Forgiving...

 

Hippie nature is forgiving the ones who hurt you and loving them too.

 

Give love to others the way you would like them to love you. Love yourself first.

 

I thought it might be interesting to look at how 'hippie nature' is defined in the mainstream culture.

Thank you for your contribution but the idea behind this thread is not how would you define Hippy or how would you describe a Hippy.

The idea is more, tell us something that would be natural for a Hippy to think, feel or do.

Such as; It's Hippy nature to stand head back, face soaking up the warmth of the sun on a beautiful spring day.

 

If you have any food and loves share with the sister or brother to left and to the right..... forgive and show them love. Live with the earth not on her.....that's what I think

 

That's cool and I might add some thoughts sometime to that but I still think that, even in the context of this thread, it is interesting to notice that even the mainstream definitions of hippie recognize the qualities of "spontaneity", "love", and "expanded consciousness" as predominant.

Forgetting about all being annoyed/angry/sad just by looking out the window and smiling is hippie nature.

Today, I was just so annoyed and I saw this beautiful red cardinal and forgot all about being upset. It was wonderful.

 

Hippie nature: always look for the best in everything, and always try to do good; be a friend to everything and everyone, don't conform and be always true to ourselves.

Walking down the country roads until you find a field to gather to & play beautiful music with your friends. Just soaking up the sun`s radiation & feeling love spread throughout each person & the nature all around you.... hippy nature! eace:
