What is freedom to YOU?!

The government is the ultimate violater of people's freedom and therefore should not exist. Wouldn't you all agree? Government is about forcing people to conform to someone's opinion (mostly politicians opinion, sometimes your own opinion) when they don't want to. An example would be using government to ban substances you think are immoral. Another would be to force someone to pay taxes for something they don't support (such as war).

So everytime you say "The government should....." you might as well replace whatever you are going to say with "People should be forced to......." because that is essentially what you are saying.

 

the government should abolish itself, and all people should have enough ambition to contstantly alter the status quo. only then will people be equals, when all are dedicated to a peaceful self-maintaining anarchy. Vigilantism is the supreme virtue.

 

the truest freedom comes when you are always free, i.e., when you know that no one can force you to do or not do anything and when you free yourself of the fear of consequence

 

all you proved is that were all equal. and isnt that what governments not about? i mean. if everything was equal, theyd have to fuck it up some more just to keep theyre jobs. so tell me were not all equal. i mean, equality IS just a word right?

once heard this song that went, 'out on the road you can have freedom, but you feel trapped inside your soul'

i think there is social freedom, to be able to do whatever, and personal freedom, a lack of fear/pain/restriction in your heart

 

My defenition of freedom: Knowing that my life is all my own. No one else makes descisions for me.

Freedom is that feeling you get when you get that adrenilin rush while going on a thrill seekers ride or bungee jumping, taping it and then having a good old chuckle at the expression on your face when you watch it later on.
