some people arnt affected greatly by salvia. but to the millions who have tried it, and had it work will tell you that there are some MAJOR effects produced by salvia.

These people prolly didnt do it right. To get the full effects, you have to use a bong, a torch lighter and hold the smoke in for about 30 seconds. The salvinorin burns at a really high temperature, a normal lighter wouldnt do it.

Also, Salvia is a drug with "reverse tolerance" meaning that it works better the more times you do it... this def. happened for me... takes a few uses before hallucinations occur sometimes.

Alcohol is not a hallucinogen, but weed is. Technically.

lol i dont see how you can assume ive never been that drunk.. im australian, mate ;)

ive not stayed up for extended time while drunk though, but staying up will add hallucinagenic qualities to everything, even sobriety

the reason things look different is simply because we are not seeing the whole picture, not all of the information picked up by the visual cortex manages to reach the frontal cortex, ie from the vision p[art of the brain to the conscious-manifesting part. so we dont always pick up (consciously) cues of identification, or moreso, cues of evaluation. ugly people dont look different when drunk, we just dont pickup the things that would normally turn us off.
