I think I could be wrong but its where people make a bunch of one thing and trade with others who made a bunch of stuff. I dont like the idea. Its kinda like making uniforms.... I think it would be better if people just made stuff and traded it for something else
You don't have to make all of one thing.... you could throw in some hemp necklaces you made, an old CD you don't want anymore, a pair of pants and a piece of candy if you really wanted. A box just gets sent around to people on the list, they take what they like from the box, and put in things they've made or don't have a use for anymore, then send it on its way.
hmm. i really don't have a lot of anything, but i could probably come up with something. a lot of bad old house records??? (barf) how does it work with shipping and things?
I would think one person starts the box, inserts items, inserts adress list, sends and the next person takes items, inserts own, pays for next shipping, etc etc [edit] In theory couldnt you keep cycling it?
i think so! we have something like this at my school. ecoMAFIA (ecological males and females IN ACTION!) runs a stuff swap i think once a month and it's the same thing. bring waht you have, take what you want. goood night!
