I see we agree on at least one thing   Devils advocate is always welcomed by me. I don't know if I see it as that the way it went down in this thread but I'm also just really stressed about some bullshit this week. And no, I don't go around punching people and never did. But I had a lot of friends in the past that would beat the shit out of people for talking to them like that, and I grew up in the dc area. I don't like fighting especially at 26, but Ive had to punch a few people just to continue on with my day. So In person I would argue back too, my comment was just to point out that I think a lot of the posts I see online wouldn't be said in person.
Apply directly to the forehead. Yes. But there are many factors to this. The internet provides room for discussion of contraversial topics which are hard to discuss in real life without triggering a reaction. I wish people were as open in real life as on the internet, I honestly try to be.
Thats true, hmmm. I think the internet has opened my mind a lot actually, in a lot of ways because of the non socially filtered communication.
Yeah, I'm pretty much the first seed of the internet generation, grew up with it, had it ever since I was 13. Taught me a lot, aaaaa lot. This forum alone helped me get through lots of teenage angst and depression back in the day. This is a great place to be a kid.
Yeah my dad got a computer with aol when I was 15 haha. Oh man, going from being like jay in jay and silent bob strike back.. "what the fuck is the internet?" to being unleashed into chatrooms and free porn. Good times.
*sings* CAN you feel the LOVE tonight.... see, it ended up loving and wonderful in the end, didn't it? so, will there be any videos of manlove for my efforts?
ah, the love is great in here if something is worth saying, i say it the same in real life as i would say on here. i see no reason to change.
i've learned a small degree of circumspection in real life, finally. it sucked getting my ass kicked all the time. i can't help being a social idiot. actually, i'm not so bad anymore.
fun fun. ever have one of those days where your horoscope PERFECTLY matches your day? that's fun. here's mine. i always read my horoscope the day after, to see if it matches. usually it doesn't, but this time it did. "It's hard to know what is appropriate today, for your emotional boundaries may be a bit fuzzy. You could waste time and energy lost in feelings that actually belong to someone else. Visualizing a shield of impenetrable light around you can be enough to reestablish a perimeter that keeps others out who aren't expressly invited."
