What if there is no afterlife?

consciousness =/= energy

it's just not the same. Therefore, as the body deteriorates and energy is released, it's not your consciousness going back to nature, just the energy changing forms. The mind is controlled by the brain, case in point.

you could have worded this alot better......dealing in absoluted like that makes people feel like your forcing something on them....

sure you beleive that to be true....but saying it IS, if i disagree with it, its just insulting....
