I liked walking around a little in the powdery snow. But, it's been melting and refreezing the last couple of days. It's now mixed with salt, dirt and dog urine. Officially, it was 11.5 inches of snow with a layer of ice in between. It's not going away for a while, but it's not too inticing to walk around in anymore.
Wow that’s a lot of snow I wish we had that here. It snowed a little bit down in the valley but the mountains got a lot . I would still walk around barefoot in the snow and ice . I really love feeling the cold on my bare feet..
I had to go to Walmart and pick up a few things and I was barefoot the whole time and people were looking at me like I was crazy. Then I had to go back again to Walmart here’s a picture of my bare feet . It was 18 degrees Fahrenheit this morning and now that it’s in the afternoon it’s 40 degrees Fahrenheit and it still feels good to be barefoot in the winter time.
Eighteen degrees is too colding cold for my feet. We had similar weather in Ky today. I had socks and shoes on for my morning bus run. Normally, I loose my shoes during morning drive until I pick the first student up. Not today. But this afternoon once I dropped the last student off I was barefoot. Tomorrow will be even colder.
Tomorrow here the temperature in the morning is going to be 12 degrees Fahrenheit and I’m going fishing tomorrow morning. And I’m going barefoot.
I don’t know how you can do that, it will be colder here and I won’t be barefoot. Your soles and upper foot must be thick and well insulated from years of be always barefoot. Enjoy
Yes they are barefoot Larry it just take years and a lot of patience and a lot of going barefoot in every condition and weather. Like when I would go to Montana and visit my brother in the middle of winter I would be running around in my bare feet and the high there when I was visiting him was 12 degrees Fahrenheit and and the lows where in the minus 10 degrees Fahrenheit and I would walk in stores and other places in my bare feet and people would ask me if I’m from Alaska I would tell them no I’m from Utah and they would tell me I’m crazy for being barefoot in this type of weather I just smile.
Well, Barefoot Rick, they might be right about the crazy part. Lol But, you inspired me this morning with the temperature at 8 degrees to drive barefoot before the bus warmed up.
That’s awesome barefoot Larry I went fishing this morning and I was barefoot it was only 23 degrees Fahrenheit and I caught so fish here’s a picture of my best friend and the fish we caught . It was cold to where the net froze to the ground. But I was still barefoot.
I went fishing again but didn’t stay long my fishing buddy started getting cold I did catch one big trout before we left and I was barefoot again like all ways. But next week I don’t know the morning will be in the teens and the high in the daytime will be in the 20’s to 30’s degrees Fahrenheit. And I know if I go somewhere barefoot in that type of weather I know I will be talking to the police because someone will call them to see if I’m ok or I need help.
I just came back from one of my favorite restaurants and I went barefoot and wow did people give me looks . But the guy’s their know me and they don’t minded if I’m barefoot in their. I had one guy asked me if my bare feet are cold I said no and the guy at the counter said he’s always barefoot and the guy was amazed and I was wearing shorts as well.
The temps have steadly rose the last few days finally getting above freezing making walking around outside more comfortable. Still a lot of snow around, but rain tomorrow will probably clear much of it. Going to have to feel that wet pavement tomorrow. But, tomorrow night starts the steep drop down to teens as the high temp. Too low for me to walk barefoot any distance
I hear tomorrow the temperature is not good here . I still go barefoot and I know I should be careful I don’t want to lose my toes or a foot . It was cold fishing today my hands were stinging and red but after a while my hands warmed up and my bare feet were a little bit red but they warmed up and my bare feet were a little bit sweaty.
Today it’s snowed a little bit and I had to go and remove the snow and yes I did it barefoot like I always do . And my neighbor saw me and she said I don’t know how you do it being out here barefoot and removing snow in your bare feet? I told I’m use to it and she said I see you in the summer time cutting your lawn barefoot and doing yard work barefoot. But removing snow wow she told me that all of the neighbors told her not to worry if she sees me out in the snow barefoot that’s just him being him he’s a hardcore barefooter . It’s been a awesome day .
Well it snowed again and temperature was in the low twenties. Walked in the snow out to the hot tub had a nice soak.
I went and got street tacos for dinner and I drove there barefoot and the guy asked me where are your shoes and I said you know me and he said that’s right you don’t wear shoes or socks and he ask me if my bare feet are cold I said not the feel just right . The temperature is 30 degrees Fahrenheit good barefoot weather.
