Well today I worked on a remodeling project at my daughters home. I framed up a 2 x 4 wall. After I finished I drove to a liquor store bought some beer. Next I walked down the sidewalk to a dollar store. Lastly, I went the park and walked nearly a mile in the wet grass. All theses things done barefoot.

Well March is almost gone beautiful Saturday temps in the 60’s and I enjoyed almost three miles of barefoot walking in Dean Watts park in Bardstown Ky. Will spend most of the afternoon working on a wood work project barefoot.

I mowed barefoot a few times and it did feel great. But, I found it annoying looking half martian with my green feet. That and the land mines the dogs left throughout the lawn gave me incentive to wear an old pair of sneakers I kept just for that purpose.

We had three large dogs on a half acre yard. It was easier to just mow over it. LOL

I've mowed barefooted since....I was old enough to use the mower. I'm still regularly chided and warned how unsafe it supposedly is, but...standing in back of my mower I can't figure out what succession of events would have to happen for one of my feet to end up under the mower. For that matter, a guy I know thought kicking grass out of the discharge chute of a running mower was a good idea. The blade missed his toe fortunately, but it took the end of his sneaker off effortlessly...leading me to believe that an ordinary pair of shoes affords little protection for your feet...

I went to Walmart and to Costco barefoot today and I had a lot of people look at me then look at my bare feet. One lady said she was going to leave her flip flops home but her husband told her nobody going barefoot to Costco!! And she said see theirs a guy shopping here and he is barefoot . They both stopped me and asked me if I go everywhere barefoot and I said yes I do and his wife said see for now on I’m going shopping barefoot and he said that he will to do that made me really happy . I love seeing other people go barefoot and enjoy going barefoot. Barefoot is my life I love going and doing everything barefoot!!!

It’s finally warm enough in Illinois and I’ve been barefoot since Saturday. Hate wearing shoes and socks but we get temperature swings need to. Looking forward to consistent warm weather. I usually stop wearing socks from May till late October and go barefoot where I can.
