What happens if youre mid-surgery when the power goes out

and for the some reason you have no generator?

 

Depends on what was being done to you and where they were with it. But if you're in a hospital without a generator, I'd say you might have been fucked before the lights went out.

 

That's a thought I've had several times... kinda freaks me out, and I hate having surgery because of such stuff, that and a bad anesthesist, who kills me or make me end up retarded or half disfigured..

Or what if your surgeon replaces your heart with a baked potato?

I'm always more afraid of waking up half way through. That happened to my sister...holy traumatic.

 

the doctors just leave you as you are and if the power comes back on and youre still alive, they will continue where they left off. if youre dead, oh well. less work for them.

 

i asked my mom if they do operations in rooms with windows and she said no, but it would be good incase the lights went out right? finish the surgery by sunlight
