I'll tell ya about nothin'... The oak trees are dropping leaves at about 5 good loads a day. I raked for a while, so the cats would have something to lay in. Then I need to go to the grocery store AND the library AND shampoo my hair before I even do anything. So I finished washing dishes and have come in here, and am ONLINE. gah I have done nothing that I should have...I HAVE to do something tomorrow or Thanksgiving won't happen right...as it is I'm pushing it. not planning on doing anything either, but fixing supper/dinner. lol nothing is what I'm doing
I have to clean the upstairs bathroom now with a toothbrush after pulling an all nighter getting everything else done....no sleep here at all.....scrubbing the kitchen from top to bottom and everything in it.....Then I will be ready to greet my brother and his girl when they get here at 6:30 tonight...so I have to go now.... Hiya, doin' Lynn...?...and Egger....too...? Oh, you told us, Lynn...lol my brain is pretty empty on no sleep right now....ok, later.....
"Not a creature was stirring..not even a mouse..." Everyone went to bed. I have the hourse quiet and downstairs here to myself right now.... I have to motivate myself before going to sleep in an hour or two...to wrap some Christmas gifts for my brother and his girl for tomorrow....the opening day of the Christmas season. My brother is getting a huge stocking filled with all kinds of things from childhood memories of things he liked...batman things....owls...he still loves owls.....etc. I want to make him feel like a kid again tomorrow ...when our parents would fill our stockings every Christmas with many little gifts....The stocking is huge, so his batman from mezco will be in there with loads of other things. I have alot of tiny things to wrap....ugh... My brother's finacee is getting that mustard afghan poncho I bought to keep herself warm at my brother's place.....as he keeps his apartment freezing. he loves it cold...and she suffers....lol..plus I am filling a gift bag of other little thought out gifts for her, too. Going, going going here for days....and I made all of my deadlines...had the house cleaned....We had pizza...talked about many things....and the house is full. Tomorrow, I will be tied to the kitchen making Thanksgiving dinner, and Friday a couple of my friends are coming over, also, to join us for spaghetti dinner night..... My brother and his girl leave on Sunday.... They are getting married next month.... I cannot believe I am going on 48 hours without sleep and still have the wrapping to do..... Saturday...it is smooth sailing again....as we will have leftover Thanksgiving dinner....so I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel from here....
Ha ha....I certainly hope not;... Well, time for me to move and do again.....as i want to go to sleep soon.... nite..have a great day tomorrow to all, whatever you are doing...
Winter seems to have descend upon my town, almost overnight. The trees are suddenly bare, the visit of an occasional mild day has ceased, a crusty frost has started to form on the corners of puddles. Things are much quieter now.
no news is good news. i don't NEED anything going on in my life, as long as i have food, shelter, and a computer i can make pictures on and share them on the internet. nothing human is as interesting as alternative infrastructure technologies, and the wonderous diversity of forested mountains and the little furry creatures that live in them. which is not to make humans feel bad either, though they are generally a bit too full of themselves.
