Lego, football, tennis, painting, chess. Oh and guns. Unfortunately not real ones : (
    Lots of lego in particular.

Was told by my bizarre parents that u only do football as a job if u are stupid. And that u never get rich doing lego (being an architect).

When we would drive on long trips, my parents would start a game called "The Quiet Game". I just now realized that my parents never participated, just my sister, brother and me.

:D THat sounds like "child abuse lite" hehe.

Sort of playing hide and seek. Then winning by finding you manage to hide from everyone for ... a whole week. : D

Lol. The worst part about it was that I was foolish enough to win every time and was proud.

    that was dumb [IMG]

all you had to do was turn one side a bit and pop out a middle piece...or another way is to pop off the small cover on a center piece and remove the screw

my play as a child didn't generally involve games. i was never that social. i grew up going for long walks by myself in the woods. closest thing to games was i played chess with my father, who was an even worse wood pusher then i was and remain.

i would do civil engineering in the back yard with tonka construction machines. i was all about lincon logs and erector sets and anything like that. also trains, was more drawing pictures and maps for them. i was also given a camera (film, digital anything didn't exist yet) when i was still really young. which i took pictures of mostly trains and interesting houses and things like that, mostly out in the woods too.

Yeah, as a child I did not spend too much time indoors.....did not care for dolls much then either.....wonder why I went crazy for them in 2001.....maybe trying to fill some void after my dad died, I don't know....I am not buying them now, though...
I liked to climb trees and water towers....lol

but when I was inside playing games with family members or company....those were very happy memories.

well i spent a lot of time inside drawing imaginary model railroad layouts. the solitude of the trails in the forest were my refuge from the stresses of school and adolescence.

i actually spent a lot more time inside then out, but i did do a lot of walking, and living in small towns where wilderness was within walking distance, i did spend quite a bit of time out in it too.

Red Rover and cowboy and Indians. Course, there was the Sky King "flying" adventures. Quick games of baseball or football. Lots of kids in my neighborhood.
