I got an emulator for my PC so been playing Super Mario World again and Super Mario Bros.3. I still have my Playstation 2 where I play Crash Bandicoot, Resident Evil, Dino Crisis and Tombraider. Incidentally, I bought a 2013 version of Tombraider for the XBox 360 I am going to try out soon.
I'm having such rough time trying to win a super bowl on my madden franchise. Im now 4 seasons in, no championships. Just went 16-0 lost in AFC championship for second year running. So, I made A LOT of off season changes to my Broncos team. 1. I needed money, bad. I actually had no money to sign a simple free agent. I decided to trade WR. D Thomas, a CB and 6th round pick to Baltimore for the #1 overall draft pick. This freed money. 2. I signed a young CB with an overall rating of 85 which gave me 4x CB with a rating over 80. I released CB Aquib Talib to free up a further 10million. 3. I then addressed some WR spots, DT, TE and a QB for pre season. 4. I trade my first round #30 Draft pick & a MLB & also a second 6th round pick to the Browns for their #5 overall first round pick. 5. With my first overall pick of the draft I bring in rookie CB. This gives me 4x CB over 80 rating, two are very young so I'm set at that position. 6: With my 5th overall pick I bring in a WR to address my WR ails. He's only rated 76 but I'm hoping to get him over 80+ by year end. He needs to be a franchise player. So I've made lots of roster movements. I'll have new starting corners, strong safety, DT, WR etc. I've ever made this many moves ever in a madden game. I feel like a GM or something.
just got god of war 3 and as i am playing it i am thinking "i can swear i beat this already" so i look for my games and most of them i found but i know a few are missing because my favorite game on the ps3 is infamous and i cant find it, and also i know for a fact i beat the first 2 GOW's yet their disk is nowhere to be found. i checked every box and cabinet. a bit frustrating, so much so that i lost interest in the game.
So you think you already have the game and have finished it already? I don't think I ever bought a game I already had, but I've done that with iTunes and bought albums I already had.
Lol buying the same game twice by accident! A dutchman's nightmare :-D I watched something of the new God of war. I think it must be 4 then? Looked awesome. A bearded guy and his kid in the woods. Frosty hills and trees, a bit nordic. Big troll like monster. Triggered my interest more than the other God of war games. Didn't play any. Still playing SW Battlefront here mostly!
The only time I have bought the same game twice was when years after the disc stopped working and that's the only Time that ever happened to me.
i've bought a lot of games twice. i had all my games stolen at one point, and the thief's grandma paid me to buy all of them back in exchange for not having him arrested. so that's like 20 games i bought twice. i've also had a couple stop working, and a couple that i bought for different systems.
Sure, buying in bulk for cheap and thus get the same game double I can understand! And also when you're not done with a game but the disc is done with you I actually bought Morrowind twice, for pc and later for xbox. Worthy investment. Latest trophy earned: defeated both the Millenium Falcon and Slave 1 (called 'Don't get cocky, kid!')
My friend succesfully took down an Imperial walker with his airspeeder and tow cable in multiplayer. Have to rival him.
i am guessing so, i bought it knowing there was a newer one. i think it was called ascension or something like that. maybe thats the one i had...still cant find any of them.
same, basically. i got it for pc as a gift, and loved it, but my pc couldn't really handle it. so i later bought it for xbox. when i got home i realized that it was the basic version in a game of the year edition box, so i then rebought the actual game of the year version. then my xbox died, but i eventually got a better pc so that's the version i played most recently.
Yeah that sucks, wrong version in the box. Game of the year edition was the only one where the enemies had a health bar visible (well on pc there were mods I guess), it was the main reason to get it. Otherwise I just had to guess how close I was with killing someone, instead of doing a runner when it becomes apparent the enemy is gonna win
I was playing Assassins Creed Syndicate (xbox1) and somehow I burnt out on video games. Well, every so often Windows 10 puts a new image up as a screen saver on my laptop. The other day it put up a picture of the track from a racing game (I don't know which one). It rekindled my interest in the game I got free when I bought my xbox1, which was Forza Motorsport 5. So I started playing that and feel ok about gaming in general now. Whew!
Sooo I bought my first already purchased game. Skyrim. I have Skyrim on 360 but now I also have it on XBONE. it was cheap too, less than half price than a new game. It's the special edition. So far I really can't tell the different. =\
That's what I was wondering. What's so special about this edition? Just that it plays on the latest systems?
It was meant to have some graphical enhancements and a few new bits and pieces. A field of depth which I can see, I think... just make character zoom out more when armed. And was also meant to have all the mods and support from the PC and 100 new characters etc. I haven't really gotten a chance to play much...my missus seems to get annoyed when I try and play it because I take over the tv and she had equalibrian problems and spins out watching first person....
I made it to high Hrothgar and now I have to find the horn to complete my training. But I think I'll wait because I was in such a hurry to complete some of the story so I wasn't a noob that I didn't really explore the caves I normally would have. I've noticed some differences though from the 360 version. Just little things but I'm running into a some conspiracy people and vampires that think I'm lying about being dragonborn. And I've died as many times in 4 days than I think I did in a whole year of playing lol. I'm finding it quite difficult but I like that. I'm also playing a lot different. Usually I just explore and plunder but finally like I couldn't even contract vampire disease on 360. Well I got that now and looking forward to being a vampire. It was heaps fun in Oblivion. I'm unconcerned about the folk not liking me for being a vampire because I find that 90% of the characters in Elder Scrolls games are very fucking rude to begin with!
I'm now a vampire. It's a bit different to Oblivion. In Oblivion you had different levels of vampire. When you fed you started on level one and the less you fed and the more you slept the stronger you got. At level one sunlight did no damage but on level 3 sunlight would harm you. So far I've noticed that my eyes are permanently red, but that's okay cause I'm a druggo anyway. but it also says my blood boils in the sun my magic health and stamina will not recharge in sunlight. I think that's okay s cause I'll just get some restoration type spells and cast them when I need to.
