I don't play sports games anymore but I agree. I want a realistic result. I hate losing if I am the steelers and I hate winning if I am the browns.
The subway tunnels was a big reason why I found fallout 3 boring. As if the map depended upon them. I prefer to just roam the surface being a badass. I won my 125 lap Late Model race, I have the double points 250 lap race today probably.
I always lol at people's scores when they gloat they won a soccer game 20-0 or madden 85-10. Lol. What's the point?
I know...right? I mean I got 500 goals in a playoff series in nhl 93 but you don't here me acting like I have done something special or important.
There's three games I want to buy. Doom, the new madden and the new F1 game. Missus told me I can't have any because I bought 4 xbone games and never finished them. >.>
i was disappointed that dragon age isnt closer in gameplay style as mass effect but it still has that same feeling of not knowing who will be in your group and what will be destroyed and what will last till the end of the game.
finally figured out what the second disk is for. being i never followed the DA series when i decided to play i didnt know what origins meant or inquisition. i just knew that 1 was supposed to be good and 2 was supposed to be bad. after thinking i could play any mission and then getting prompted to pay for a mission i looked at the box. sure enough i was supposed to get that mission for free. upon closer inspection that origins disk seems to just be all of the extra missions that you would have had to pay for if you got the game way back when it first came out. now i just have to figure out whats the deal with inquisition but that can wait till i am done with the original game.
I'm looking forward to the new Doom game. I just need something to play it on lol. That and No Man's Sky looks pretty sweet. I've been configuring JoyToKey with my PS3 controller for a bunch of old games I found and bought on GOG. Been playing Carmageddon TDR2000 and Dungeon Keeper 2 lately. Along with Hitman: Absolution, The Last of Us (with a friend), and The Bureau: XCOM Declassified on PS3. I need more buttons on my gamepad
I had a lot of fun with Carmageddon 1 and 2 back in the day I also got one for the N64 in the hope it would be just as fun for multiplaying as Goldeneye and Mariokart but it was so ugly and bad, it was beyond rubbish. The pedestrians weren't even humans anymore but zombies I think. I still recall I made an excellent deal to get rid of that game too Not playing much these days. Too nice weather and such. Am slowly nearing the end of Uncharted 4
I've got Carma 1 and 2, but can't get 2 to work properly. Steering is weird when using my Aftershock controller with 1, too... I remember playing the one on N64 lol. Right after everyone started badgering video games in the media, ESRB labels and stuff. Good times.
I qualified a "solid" 13th @ Memphis in my Late Model. I say "solid" because I completely over corrected my car to the point where she was just loose loose loose and on ice. I botched the lap but was very surprised. 13th means inside row and at a short track, that means a touch of peace on the initial first few laps as trying to get from the outside lane down to the inside ideal race line is bloody hard. ^.^
I'm thinking about getting Mirror's Edge Catalyst. I liked the first Mirror's Edge and am looking forward to playing the follow up. Has anyone played it?
I only heard of the name. Not even sure what kind of game it is! Do you have some graphic updates for those games too? Otherwise I would think they're pretty old looking. I mean when I played them they were also a lot of fun because there was not much better Since it is 3d racing fun (opposed to a 2d platformer like the original zelda which people still seem to dig a lot) I would think the pixels would bother me a bit now.
its funny how some games can get by with old graphics and some cant. resident evil 1 looks like complete shit but super mario which is more than10 years older looks decent.
early 3d was awful. seemed cool at the time because nobody knew any better. older 2d games look fine, because you can actually see everything you need to see.
Right now I'm playing the 3DS port of Pokemon Yellow Version. Waiting patiently for Monster Hunter Generations to come out on July 15th and then Pokemon Sun and Moon on November 18th. Seems like all the best games are on 3DS these days, lol.
its always bothered me that its called xp its stands for experience points not xperience points. just beat uldered and holy shit that is an annoying level...or whatever you would call it since there technically is no levels.
I have not played it yet but I bought Doom. It was half price and actually cheaper somehow to buy the one with a poster and some sew on patches than it was to buy the game just on its own. 0.o so I bought it.
