It was in the PAL but the version I have freezes and annoys me and the American version just happens to be cheaper hehe. And my retron 3 says it can play it. It bloody well better believe me or else I'll tantrum I swear to cow!
I have it waiting for me, i think the only reason i haven't started it up yet is that i don't know what im missing since literally everybody is ecstatic about this game! (love how good they are at not spoiling anything ) I expect it to rival my uncharted experience (same developer, i expect the story to be better though), and i enjoyed the shit out of that trilogy!
It's up there amongst my all time favorites. Only one problem I have with it: Why can't Joel carry a knife for cryin' out loud? Why does he have to collect sharp pointy objects to make cheap prison weapons to stab people with??
The real problem with the game is that you can't play it co-op on line. Oh well, you probably don't have a ps3 either.
I think an easy cheap prison weapon would be a spring. Assuming you could pull it tight and it be long enough, start strangling motherfuckers! And slitting open some windpipes.
I'm now selling my not working properly evermore on EBay. I dunno, maybe it does work and just needs a proper SNES to make it run? >.> <.< Maybe someone else will find it works? I took screenshots from my new game to use to show it worked lol. It does work, it just freezes on me a fair bit. I don't know. I mean should I sell it? Knowing it may be faulty but trying to pass off that it's fine? The game works fine, maybe my Retron just didn't like it?
It seems so easy now, really. I'm already advanced to a spot that I remember took me months to get to when I was a kid. I guess knowing what to definitely helps lol. And I've done things that I've never done before, like I remember killing the big bug with alchemy only when I was a kid, this time I just ran straight up to it and smacked its heart. Game. Over. Bug. And I don't even think I've died yet.
It's probably the retron that causing the issues. I've never used a Retron but I have heard they have problems with specific games. I have begun playing Alien Isolation on PS4, it is on sale through the PSN store.
Alien Isolation is on my list to get as well! I'm certain I'll love that one (not really a horror fan though, but I love good atmosphere and space of course ). As usual I was thinking of getting the hardware copy. How much was it on sale?
Currently playing Tomb Raider: Anniversary on PS2. I am fricken in LOVE with this game!!! Love the highly detailed adventure platforming it brings. Especially the detail and just flat out gorgeous areas to explore. Plus replayability is great with Croft Manor and all the extra cheats and outfits you can unlock by finding hidden collectibles in the levels. Just not sure yet if you can use the outfits in the game. Maybe I have to complete the game first? Some are new games. Mostly user-created mods built on original games like Super Mario, Zelda, Chrono Trigger. Other's are re-releases of games that have been translated. Secret of Mana 2 (with up to 3 player multiplayer capability), Mother 1, 2, and 3 (Earthbound series), etc. Well worth the purchase, but they get pretty pricey. As expected with the work that goes into it, translation, and attention to detail. Some games have certain bits that aren't translatable or no one has yet taken the time to translate it. Mostly games with graphic interfaces, thought bubbles, etc. I want that Kirby 50th anniversary NES SO BAD!
I have Destruction Derby Arena on PS2... Same thing? I haven't popped it in yet to see what it's all about.
I'm playing destruction derby on the ps1. Probly the same game. I didn't like the second one. I always go flying in the air too easy. The first one you never fly in the air. It got bad reviews on Nintendo and other systems but good reviews on the ps1. Not sure about ps2.
