What does your username mean?

Pretty much this.

I was literally still in my wetsuit when I signed up. So, "Neoprene" was on my mind, and "Queen" rhymed. Bam. There ya go. Neoprene Queen.

But the queen part makes me sound like a pretentious dolt who thinks she's better than everyone. Wished I thought this through

I used mcme because it's part of the first email address I ever had and easy to remember. I've come to enjoy this place and would like to change it to the same one I use on a few other forums, maddad. That's short for Maddie's daddy, which above everything else is what I am.

During the O J Simpson trial I would post messages on the old Court TV message boards and kept getting banned by the moderator Coldwater i.e., I kept getting into Hot water (which was my final username before they permanently shut down)

However, at that period of my life, I didn't even know the internet was a thing. Blows my mind there were message boards 25 years ago

 

Message boards were never more popular than back in the mid 90s because so much was going on everyone had an opinion about the O J Simpson Trial
