hahaha... Charles is german in origin, and means "manly farmer".. haha what the hell.. Francis comes from latin and means 'free' Hall is English and means "From the manor"... hahaha.. So my name translates to Free Manly Farmer from the Manor... hahahaha
George also means farmer, if I recall.... prosperous farmer.... and my last name was Snowden... somewhere along the lines, they bastardized it. Works for me. And yes... it's Scotch descended.
