when it comes to movies i like mostly old stuff, i got the classics like metropolis, cabinet of dr caligari, nosferatu, i recently got really into the movie paper moon and ran out and bought it on dvd. i also have a newfound obsession with the twilight zone, as i got the box set on dvd for xmas!! i also have damn near everything by woody allen, tarantino, and lynch

my system backups. period. i have no "dvd collection".

ask me again when THAT tecnology nears obsolescence. THEN i'll probably have i few, like i have vhs tapes and a ton of cassettes of hearts of space and thistle and shamroc i recorded off the air when they were both being carried by our local npr station here.

this isn't something i do deliberately, i just don't have the resources to even think about trying to keep up, and better things to do with what i do.

only about 30-40 of them i bought the rest of them are copies from the library, friends, or family video. Also i just found out that someone took my dvd of the 40 year old virgin.

same goes with my cd collection ive only bought about 15-25 and the rest are burned copies

 

I have no DVD player, so collecting DVD's would be pretty pointless.
