JesusDiedForU one in respect of what? i.e. explain ''they are one'' they have their own different purpose. Yet they are one, how is that? Yours Sincerely, Cat Stevens
JesusDiedForU Nope, Seriously, I asked several times in different posts and threads, I've never got an answer. Yours Sincerely, Cat Stevens
JesusDiedForU Bless you =)Yours Sincerely, Cat Stevens Note: Silly, Irrelevant, and the like, responses, posts, comments will be ignored (it depends on my mood and time if I won't ignore them), taking off the topic is losers' style, ask yourself: will you write such response if the writer wasn't a Muslim!
JesusDiedForU Matthew 19:16-17: And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. And according to Islam, if someone didn't believe in Jesus the Christ (pbuh) then he isn't Muslim , Allah promised Paradise to the believers, and the believer should believe in Jesus. Quraan: The Messenger (Muhammad ) believes in what has been sent down to him from his Lord, and (so do) the believers. Each one believes in Allah, His Angels, His Books, and His Messengers. Have a nice, peaceful and faithful day =) Best wishes Peace and love Yours Sincerely,Cat Stevens Note: Silly, Irrelevant, and the like, responses, posts, comments will be ignored (it depends on my mood and time if I won't ignore them), taking off the topic is losers' style, ask yourself: will you write such response if the writer wasn't a Muslim!
TRI-UNITY -- The teaching of the Bible concerning the Trinity might be summarized thus. God is a Tri-unity, with each Person of the Godhead equally and fully and eternally God. Each is necessary, and each is distinct, and yet all are one. The three Persons appear in a logical, causal order. The Father is the unseen, omnipresent Source of all being, revealed in and by the Son, experienced in and by the Holy Spirit. The Son proceeds from the Father, and the Spirit from the Son. With reference to God's creation, the Father is the Thought behind it, the Son is the Word calling it forth, and the Spirit is the Deed making it a reality. We "see" God and His great salvation in the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, then "experience" their reality by faith, through the indwelling presence of His Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ did personally claim to be God..* Consider the following table echoing the claims and very words of Jesus Christ.... Enraging the Pharisee's with words and deeds allowed for God alone! Jesus' Actions or WordsCommentsScripture Ref:..before Abraham was, I AM!"Christ goes beyond the statement "I am God" and tells the Pharisees to their face that He is the absolute, timeless Deity who spoke to Moses from the burning bush... (Hebrew ego eimi Ex: 3:15- the most sacred name known to the Jews)John 8:58"I and My Father are one and the same"...The Greek word used here is hen... meaning one in the very essence of being!John 10:30"Fear not, I AM"Another of the many references to the most sacred of all names in Judaism- ego eimiMark 6:45Jesus accepts worship without any rebuke...No angel, prophet or apostle ever accepted such, but instead rebuked such action immediately! Matt8:2 Matt 14:33Jesus claims to forgive sins...Again, right up there with "I AM", this was, in their eyes, the worst form of blasphemy possible! Only God can forgive sins!!Matt 9:6Jesus claims He is without sin..."I always do the things that are pleasing to Him" He then goes on to say all men are born in sin and need His forgiveness!(John 8:29).Jesus often refers to Himself as the "Son of Man"This is a direct claim to be the eternal redeemer and king spoken of by the prophet Daniel in his great night vision. ~500B.C.Dan. 7:13...Jesus states that "all power in heaven and earth has been given to Him""When the Son of Man comes in the clouds in great Glory with the Holy Angels, He will be seated on His Glorious throne..."Math 28:18..Jesus claims that He and He alone will judge everyone who has ever lived...Their eternal destiny, He claims, is in his hand and determined solely on their acceptance or rejection of His one time substitutionary sacrifice on their behalf.Math 25:31..Jesus' miracles transcend every scientific and natural barrier known to man.Mass/Energy Conservation, Entropy, gravity and all forces of nature including molecular and all biochemical processes and structures...., and... complete power over death Jesus fulfills every O.T. prophecy concerning the coming Messiah...(except the 2nd Coming..)Over 300, and He repeatedly points this out...the one spoken of by the O. T. prophets who would redeem mankind. Lk 24:44"Verily, Verily, I say unto you" He speaks on His own authority and does not require a witness to the veracity of His teachings... unheard of and, again, considered blasphemous in His day! "My Father"...the Jews would never refer to God as "My Father", but rather "Our Father"... again the introduction of a new and radical relationship with the Father.Math 7:21...Prophesizes His own death and resurrection...And pulls it off! ...appearing bodily for over 40 days to thousands of witnesses.Book of Acts
Hey Cat I don't have to lie about Islam, all I have to do is pick up my newspaper and look at all the Muslims blowing themselves up and killing as many people as they can all in the name of Allah. I dont see Christians or Jews doing this. This insanitiy is only occuring in your religion. As the Quran states. 8:17 "It is not ye who slew them; it was Allah" 9:14 "Allah will punish them by your hands, and disgrace them, help you over them,
Not that i care for any muslim religion but both biggest wars ever "well so far" was WW1 and WW2 and they were catholics killing each others and jews cought in the middle of the cross fire.
JesusDiedForU Well, they are three Gods not one? Each one has a name a function? OK, OK, ignore this Is there any biblical verse which supports such a concept of God (all what you wrote above) or supports tri-unity God, biblical verse = (a verse From Torah or the 4 Gospels) And could they (the three persons (Gods) be separated) Jesus in a place, the Holy Spirit in other place, The Father is in somewhere else, or they are always together? Which biblical verse says that Jesus is God and the Holy Spirit (The Angel) as well? Biblical verse = (a verse From Torah or the 4 Gospels) "And this is eternal life, that they may know Thee (the father) the only true God" (John 17:3). And because God is the only one who should be worshipped, John 4.21-34: (Jesus) saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Fatherè (he said the father he didn't mention the son nor the Holy Spirit, he only mentioned the father because the father is God and God only should be worshipped). Ye worship ye know not what, we know what we worship… and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father…for the Father seeketh such to worship him. Tell me if I misunderstood the verses, and clarify it. So, you agree that "He who has seen me has seen the Father" (Jn.14:9) is a metaphor. Good. Can I understand from this that Jesus isn't the embodied God =(God the Father)? Yet, they are 3 but 1. JesusDiedForU I said: When did Jesus say I am God? Never Isaiah 45.17-22 [TEV=Today's English Version (TEV) or Good News Bible]: ''…It is he who says, "I am the LORD, and there is no other god. I have not spoken in secret or kept my purpose hidden... I am the LORD, and I speak the truth; I make known what is right." But Ok, let's see, (BTW: I took a look on some of the verses which you posted as a proof of Jesus' divinity, I already commented on them in my thread Is God 1 or 3? However, I will post my responses to them in new threads because they will be discussed in details by other writers with different opinions and I will add to them plus, this thread is about John 1:1 only I already commented on these verses in my thread Is God 1 or 3? And for different detailed explanations from other writers click on the following links (you'll find my comments there as well) Is Jesus God because of (John 8:56-59) ''before Abraham was, I AM'' You quoted this verse from which version exactly, because in (KJV) & (NIV) I didn't find ''and the same'', however, same to John5:85, I already commented on this verse in Is God 1 or 3? And for different detailed explanations from other writers click on the following link (you'll find my comments there as well) ''I and my Father are one'' (John 10:30) Doesn't point to Jesus' divinityPeace and love Yours Sincerely,Cat Stevens Note: Silly, Irrelevant, and the like, responses, posts, comments will be ignored (it depends on my mood and time if I won't ignore them), taking off the topic is losers' style, ask yourself: will you write such response if the writer wasn't a Muslim!
JesusDiedForU Refer to: Is Jesus God because of (John 8:56-59) ''before Abraham was, I AM''è (link) Accordingly, let's read this verse from other versions 1- (NIV) …It is I. Click here to read this verse from (NIV) 2- (NASB) …It is I. Click 3- (MSG) …It's me. Click 4- (NLT) It's all right," he said. "I am here! Click è In Exodus 3:4, we read that prophet Moses used this exact same term to refer to himself, however, now strangely enough, no one has ever tried to claim that Moses is God or that he was mimicking the words of God found ten verses later in the same book of Exodus. We read:"And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here I am." Exodus 3:4 5- (KJV) …it is I Click Consequently, ''I am'' couldn't be found in these versions! Paul wrote hisLetters before the four gospels, which were later colored and influenced by Paul’s beliefs and teachings. Can I say that they translated it to ''I am'' in some versions to reconcile it with Exodus?! I continue in other post... campbell34 Maybe you don't but christian missionaries, and Christian channels' hosts and broadcasters, priests etc have to do so, I have my documents =) Yeah maybe a newspaper which only posts about bad Muslims' news Muslims who don't practice Islam, or maybe you become blind and deaf whenever there is a positive article about Muslims and Islam. See the doctor today, and an apple a day keeps the doctor away. Ugly double standards Again: Take for example, the Christian Bush he did many bad bad bad brutal things in the name of God Jesus as he himself admitted, some good links THE US HOLY WAR YOUR TAXES (flash player) (The United State Of Mercy) Children Photo Album NO COMMENT Link (1) Link (2) Link (3) Link (4) Link (5) hohohoho I can't believe this, I think you like me to repeat all the time, aren't you? The Quraan is the real word of Allah, which was delivered by the Angel Gabriel (Holy Spirit) to Muhammad, peace be upon him. Prophet Muhammad, PBUH, memorized the verses he received and recite them to his companions, who happened to be with him. He then ordered them to immediately write the verses down. The Quraan is the last Allah's Scriptures which Allah revealed in the installments over a period of twenty-three years. It is one of the fundamental sources of the Islamic teachings. Some of its surahs (chapters) and verses were revealed at Makkah, and the rest thereof were revealed at Madinah. Muslim scholars have analyzed these verses, taking into account the scriptural and historical context of the revelation. If someone really honestly wants to understand the Noble Quran, then he/she must not just only read the Noble Verses from it, but also study the history of each verse because each verse in the Noble Quran came for a purpose. The topic is about John1:1 so, stop taking off the topic, this is really pathetic.
