I know you smoke pot. Before I smoked and I posted in these forums, I rarely typed in here. Granted I was "new" and probably a little shy. Now that I'm on all these glorius drugs, typing in here is a blast! Keep on postin and tokin!

Thanks garf. MOST of us know 420 in everyday context. we smoke at 420. we smoke on 420. duh. but it was good to learn something. I'd always wondered where it CAME FROM.

I know that 420 is an excellent time/day/date/and so on. But we need to make sure that we don't make 420 into to big of a thing. Right before we lost the old forums, I saw all these new people using 420 in there Name thing. It really isn't a big deal, but 420 isn't the only number out there. There are many other numbers with greater or equal purpose.

Just the thoughts from my insane mind.

I'm from Brazil and I wanted that information
cuz I work in a group pro-cannabis in Brazil that
is after changes in the marijuana laws of our country.
One of the websites we have is the www.samba420.net,
which is very good though its content is only in portuguese, providing information regarding to the growth process and many other things related.
And another one called www.noticiascannabicas.org -
which would be something like cannabis news in English, but
with everything in Portuguese too.

Well yeah...I haven't been smoking for so long, it's been a year and a half or soething like that and...it's national in your country not in mine...pay attention to what you write!

I believe there are many "myths" i guess you could say on the origination of 420. I have heard that WAY back you get 4 grams or ounces (depending on the story teller) for 20 bucks.

I also heard the story bout what JUICR said. But i have heard it many ways..i.e. different year, different school....

I say whatever it means.. I still enjoy it...LOL

I thought it meant since cops used to say 420 when they had drugs in possession so now we celebrate 420.........like they would say we have a 420 on our hands thats what i think it is hehe

theres a song by csny called 4+20 years ago. i believe this is where it came from, those college students or whatever were listening to this song i think and then it turned 420 or soemthing so they said righteous and smoked
