Currently I'm an x-ray tech. In the past I have been a dental assistant, teacher, commodity broker, crop consultant and a media assistant. I have ADHD when it comes to jobs. I am easily bored and too eager to say "screw this, I'm outa here" when a job pisses me off.

 

Actor and musician. Before that, though, I was in engineering for a fair few years, but I was never interested in it. Good money, but I used to hate Sunday nights thinking about Monday morning!

Now, I play evenings, and - hopefully - soften the edge of a bad day for someone or two in the audience.

Anyway, as many know, I am a Lactation Consultant. I teach and counsel breastfeeding mothers. The work has been slow lately. I live near the birthplace of La Leche Legue, and the paid profession of Consulting, and there are just too damn many LCs in our area at the moment.

I have a whole box full of Haberman feeders waiting for their owner to come and get them right now. They are more than $20.00 a piece,and she bought a half a dozen of them so at least I may be able to buy some groceries later this week. (Something awful about asking the Old Man for money to buy food......he doesn't mind, but still.)

What I really need is about 5 or 6 consultations in the next week or two. Slow baby month, for some reason. It always picks up in the fall.

 

ummm l'm a registered nurse.. I've worked in many fields of health care. Past 2 yrs I have been working with doctors in a medical practice. Is a great job as the doctors spoil me..

 

went to nursing school and didnt much care for wipin peoples asses so went to work on a dairy farm where i stayed for the next 12 years, worked up into management type position.. farm grew management didnt, i quit, .. did some translation work in tween and a whole lot of college courses ..
now work in construction and round the homestead,,, building the farm and land ,,, i call it semi retired
