it depends where you go in australia... the illeritate fools are out in the west and in the dodgy cities... there are actual smart people here... its the same with all countries... the dangerous animals thing is WAY over hyped. you dont see killer snakes and stuff just crawling around the city. even when you're in the bush they mostly hide and rarely attack. my god i hate the perception of australia/ns that is broadcastes over seas. ive been told by a lot of people that australia is a bit like canada in terms of climate (cept for snow) and environment. although i cant vouch for that coz ive never been to canada. but from photos the cities look similar. i think australians are some of the luckiest people on the planet. we live in one of the best places in the world.
I've been to Australia and found the country and the people beautiful. If I could afford it I would go back in a heartbeat.
I've also been to both, loved them dearly. I found Ozzies much nicer than Kiwis, I think Kiwis dislike America and Americans more then Ozzies. And I have Australian friends here and there who are as Bogan as they come and as intellectual as one can be, living in "Mellbun" and swilling Coopers.
I think all Aussies are between 5'2" and 5'4", have pink streaks in thier black dyed hair, and ride motorized unicycles at unbelievably dangerous speeds.
