This is a debate which has been running in punk circles ad nauseum since forever. Most people say either the Ramones or the Sex Pistols. I say that punk is the spirit of rebellion that has existed before the dawn of time.

There are plenty of punk bands that have good skills. Mostly bar chords on the guitar. But some of the punk drummers, define fast.
I know that Sid Just pretended that he was playing the bass. Darby crash were just too drunk or took too many pills so is singing was bizarre to say the least. I still like it. Makes me think a puzzle panther
