I always thought it was the Oil companies promising wealth to the People and leaving only poison and sickness behind. :(

I met a few 419'ers on Facebook, tried to help them with conversational english but they thought I was trying to trick them or something.
I mean I was trying to sort of, but only to help them learn about how Biochar can transform their agricultural sector and help provide food security even in the Arid regions so they started calling me after one of their tribal Gods who I guess went around making Earth to fill the oceans and make land for Man to live on, thinking I was actually a local trying to revive the "Old school religion".

I love my country Nigeria. Just a few bad eyes giving us a bad name. It's a beautiful place to visit of course.

Plus we have NOk civilization right here.

My best friend is Nigerian. He wants me to visit him there when he returns. I'm more worried about being kidnapped and cut up into tiny pieces. Am I being paranoid?. He's from the south. He says Lagos is cool. It would certainly be an experience. We'll see.

i know dem nigerians very well ,
i was raised with them together, hiphop, basketball, club,party....they are natural, organic, happy people, i like to be surrounded by such people
i can even speak their broken english, " no joke o "

unfortunately greed for money drives them to the west where - thinking money makes them happy - many of them end up unhappy, depressed, even ill because of the cold weather not made for them.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Nigeria is infamous for making nepotism a national tradition. Other than that, I know almost nothing about the country, except it looks like good farm land, filled with poor people and a few cities. I get the impression it might be a nice place to visit, but too strange to contemplate living there.
