What Do You Think About Isis?

ISIS spouts an extremist psychotic philosophy and they believe if you're not with them you're against them, and if you're against them you must die, along with others in your village, unless you're an attractive woman in which case you're sold into sexual slavery. Unless of course this is all propaganda and they're really all a bunch of heroic freedom fighters, but I doubt it.

 

most things in life turn out to be somewhere in between the worst you've heard and the best. we are in fact told a lot of things that we can tell are distortions when they contradict each other.
i have to admit, all the same, i'm pretty well convinced these are some not very nice people, this particular bunch specifically.

and now that they have and control some actual sources of wealth, have and hold a position of some leverage, they could afford to start acting a little more civilized.
so far it doesn't seem they're very much inclined to.
but i'm also not willing entirely to forget, that people who have something to gain, by paining an exaggeratedly dark picture, do have a tendency to do so.

for these reasons, i'm not about to assume i know as much so many people seem to insist each other do so.

Scenario 1: Did we not attack there country (s) first? With that you should expect an uprising.

Firstly though, enlighten me on the attacks they have carried out. San Bernadino was not one. Look at the timing of the attack and what was being said by the Gov and Media at the time; gun control; refugee debates about the vetting process. See the similarities to the Paris one? Black suv, Military precision and coordination, well armed with military style Armour.

Lets say the scenario is reversed. Would Americans banned together and fight for land and country; even into Canada if the fight led there? I think so. Would we also try to make a profound statement with the intention to strike fear in to that particular group? Again, I think so. America is/was the Bully and the victims are fighting back.

This has happened, remember the Revolutionary War. Briton 'invaded' America; America fought back. Yes I understand America was still a British Colony so they did not technically invade. They came in and tried to enforce their laws/taxes on a Commonwealth state. Imagine if Briton tried that on Australia today.

Scenario 2: They very well could be an American apparition. America does want safe passage of oil from Saudi Arabia through Syria and onto Turkey into the EU/NATO. So a league of unattended Extremists could very well tick off the fear factor box: someone the world could unite against; all the while underhandedness reigns free for America, Saudi Arabia and Israel.

Scenario 3: They are just as portrayed. Extremist Religious nuts; hell bent on destroying all that is free along with anybody who disagrees.

I do side with the notion that no one counted on Putin assisting Assad ( again the democratically elected Pres) and being as refrained as he has been.

I have heard them referred to as Daesh a lot lately, for those who do not wish to call them by the name of a goddess.

 

These are not just pissed off goat herders with shotguns. They are equipped trained and financed by someone.

 

They have mostly American equipment, abandoned by the Iraqi Army. They have oil money.

 

And they produce videos like Hollywood!

Whoever they really are.....I highly doubt if they are exactly who most westerners seem to think they are.

I think there are a good number of questions about them that deserve an answer but here's a few off the top of my head. Who is buying oil from them? How/where is the money being moved? Who are they in range of attacking but not attacking? Why? They obviously have sponsors. There is no way they could be selling all that oil without buyers and a money trail.
