Due to my insane period structure...I use both tampons and cloth pads. Regular pads don't hold up for me when I'm in a heavy cycle...I've been contemplating the diva cup and/or moon cup for a long time...I have to do some more research on it to make sure it'll work for me...but so far, I'm thinking I'm definitely going to try it

I'm a DivaCup girl, but Mooncup was the only option.

I have the divacup, the mooncup with a different name. All I can say without exploding with excitement over the product is that I went backpacking for 5 months in Latin America, and it got me through 10-hour bus rides, adventure trips, long days and long nights, all only having to be changed two or three times a day. It takes a couple tries to learn how to put it in totally properly but once it's in, you can seriously do handstands and cartwheels and jogging and swimming and sitting and standing and sleeping, all with 100000% absolutely no leaks.
It ACTUALLY makes your period almost as easy as not having one and I fucking adore it <3

I used to use tampons but now use pads. I have a stupid reason why too. It's probably totally illogical but I'm very "tiny" down there and that's a great thing for my sex life. I don't want anything going up there and stretching me out. haha. I know.....it's stupid.

    I use Moonpads... definitely awesome!

I would use mooncups but I hate putting things up there that aren't a penis. I could never use tampons either.

    regular old tampons..

I really wanted to like the DivaCup, I really did, but I used it for a few months and I just could never get it in comfortably without it leaking. It never seemed to "reopen" properly once inside and maintained a sort of D-shape, which of course meant it always leaked. The few times it went in properly, it was just very uncomfortable.. not painful, but I could feel it with every move I made.. sitting felt horrible!

I've been using a diva cup for about 2 years now, it totally innovated my life! it takes some...adjusting, but it's fantastic! no lugging around boxes of disposable napkins/tampons, no worrying about where to put said disposables when camping in the woods, or not having 'em around when you need em! no possibility of TSS from tampons...the list goes on. Better in every way. I can also tell when the cup is getting full, which is rather convenient.

I wish all ladies knew about this fabulous invention !

The mooncup sounds like such a great thing.

    Anyways, i just use tampons.
I really don't understand how anyone can actually stand pads, they're so...uncomfortable.

Well, i like how mooncups are better for the environment.
    And you only need one.

I have a small mooncup for the normal days and for the last days of my period I use a small meluna (also a cup but different brand), which rocks!
[IMG] I have the one with the ball stem in small! so cute!

I actually have three cups, just because I wanted to try them out. I didn't get along with my Fleurcup http://fleurcup.com/default-en.html I think it's shape isn't as comfortable as my mooncup.

I'm the same way. Except for about 3 months last year, I had to wear a pad. I got toxic shock syndrome for wearing tampons that were too big.

I always use pads (unless I go swimming). I just always found tampons very uncomfortable, and I looked up a mooncup, but I don't think I would like that either. Maybe someday.
