This is somewhat inspired by the necklace thread, I suppose. What do you make sure to have with you (or on you) whenever you leave the house? For me, it would be my phone, wallet, swiss army knife, stick of lip balm, and my wedding ring. If I forget any of them (well, not the lip balm as much as the rest) I feel off until I have them again.
my keys to get back in, which are always in the pocket of the pants i am wearing, even before i put them one. and when i change pants, the are the first thing i transfer to the pockets of the one i'm changing into. then there are the things i carry in my shirt pocket, and the reason i wear shirts with pockets to carry them. pen and notebook, bus passes and various forms of i.d. then there's a bit of pocket change, a watch to know how long i have to wait for the next bus, the other odd things no dimentionally transindental pocket of holding should ever be without: sonic screwdriver, psychic paper, lensatic compass, half a troy oz of gold and five of silver, and an elf/or holy stone, that is a stone with a naturally formed hole in it, through which truth can always be seen by looking through the hole in it. there's also my debit card, in case my pocket change isn't enough, or if i'm going to get groceries or other supplies, which i usually am when i leave the house, and if that is why i'm going, my two canvas shopping bags, rolled up, the non-insulated one inside the insulated one. then there is coat or sun hat, depending on time of year. its the coat that has the pocket of holding that allows me to carry complete survival gear. in the summer i'm only able to take the minimal. but at any rate, whatever else, pants, with keys in the pocket of them, and several hankerchiefs as well. at least one to blow my nose in, and one micro-fiber to clean my glasses with.
i wish i could feel that secure, or live by myself where there wouldn't be anyone to lock me out of it. but literally nothing? you mean no one minds if you go walking around in what you were born in? (even to go shopping? or do you grow everything in your own garden?)
well it would be a wonderful world if we could. i did have one of those finding yourself going someplace and only realizing not having pants, or anything else on, after i was most of the way there and it was too far to go back for anything, and someone came along in a van and gave me a ride to a commune and a blanket to keep warm and in the commune there was a kind of tree house built by someone who had left that they let me live in.
