What I like best is the challenge to my brain from reading insightful posts from all around the globe. It's better than the news feeds for salacious gossip, true confessions, political nuisances and nuances and general comments about EVERYTHING...all at once.
I like the anonymity, which frees me up to discuss things without any risk of embarrassment/public exposure. What do you like about it, Moon Goddess?
I do like the anonymity a lot but the thing I like best is the interaction with people on the forums. I like learning new things or seeing things from other's perspectives. I would love to see more current threads and posts on all sorts of topics. I do like reading the older stuff too but sometimes it's disappointing when you would like to talk to someone about something they have said, only to find that they haven't been active in a few years.
Me too. The Internet teases us. lol I wonder how many times we have entered a room, in real life, after others have left, where those others had been talking about something that would interest us and we would have joined in that conversation. We'll never know but, however, online, we can see those old chats even after everyone is gone. Frustrating, I agree. I suppose we could make current, some of those old threads? I would contribute if I had something constrictive to say on the subject.
Uhm........The fact it is a small niche forum(with history) and not to heavily moderated............ I like the openmided/hippie people/mentality..........and i like to vent my opinions/frustrations sometimes........seems a good place to do so Mzzls
All the people on HF, are fantastic and not to judgemental. They are very helpful when ask about all manor of things out there and about HF and how to down things, like search or amend you avitar etc. The best thing since sliced bread lol.
I have only been here a few days and this is my first ever forum experience. Wow you are all so lovely. I am still wandering around the posts ,dropping in comments here and there and answering lovely inbox messages [I am flattered]. I hope to make a lot of friends here and as I get the hang of it all I will come up with some subjects .
