The Joy of Cooking, The Funny Times, My Flaptop with mouse, attached external drive, iPhone and cable, sheet full of smiley face stickers I like to put everywhere, the LIST of all things to be done or acquired upon leaving the cave, pens, place mats, a Buddha shaped bowl filled with ground cannabis, a lighter, a napkin with passwords written on it, and my coffee cup with hot coffee, and a plate with half a toasted bagel with chive and onion cream cheese. And the cat just walked all over it.
That's actually a really good idea! I haven't done that yet. I ought'a find out where I can get that done.
i don't think i've mentioned the green washcloth or the razor saws lately. also 3 well used and one still in the package plastic ear picks. (they're not q-tip clones, they're like something you'd probably expect to have to go to japan to find)
Too many fliers from politicians funded by big oil disguised as farmers concerned about our environment when all they want is to make money from fracking. :wall:
so true, at least i only get those in my e-mail. on my physical desk are mostly only things my own dreams are made of. though i suppose some of them might be strange to call that.
TI-84 Plus calculator A homemade AVR programming board A random clothes pin (they don't look like pins at all, but they do "pin" things so they are pins) A set of keys/usb flashdrives (some of the USB flash drives are keys as well) An IR thermometer Datasheet for a Texas Instruments TPIC6C595 Power Logic 8-Bit Shift Register (SIPO shift register) A keyboard. A couple books ...I don't know what's underneath all that. Haven't looked in a while
some business cards from furry artists i picked up at the last con. not that i ever commission anything nor open for commissions myself. one looks like an mmo like leaf crossing i might get around to trying one of these days though. everything else i think i've pretty much mentioned at least twice. though a number of items routinely migrate to and from. coffee mugs obviously fit that category. there's some blank unlined index cards for notes or storyboarding, if i ever get around to actually storyboarding anything before i just randomly animate camera flythroughs like i usually.
one of those big slushy cups i like to buy one and then keep using the cup for water instead of dirtying the good cups
A little tower of multi-colored plastic jars that screw together. It's a pill caddy. I got it at the dollar store and hope that it stands up to two vacations.
i used to use those for electronic parts. only thing new on mine is a bag of 'bali's best espresso candy' from the 99 cent store. the little tiny 3d printed renimon that didn't have arms i finally got around to making arms for and painting and is no longer on my desk but on the narrow gauge layout behind me.
I can see that they would be great for lots of things. These are so cheap that it's difficult to keep them from cross threading.
