A Glass Of Champagne.......Tis Friday Afternoon And It's A Very Nice Way To Finish The Week...... :daisy: Cheers Glen.
A Chinese tea cup I just bought a few days ago---it is more like a coffee cup with a lid, but it has a ceramic piece that can fit inside it to hold tea leaves. Both the cup and the lid have a really cool Chinese painting. The painting has the title or inscription of 'Cold forest, writing room' Room might be a bad translation---I couldn't find the word in any of the Chinese dictionaries I have, but judging by the picture, I assume it was a place where Imperial clerics worked. It shows a set of buildings and a courtyard, which look very much like Chinese imperial buildings or even a Royal Residence. The buildings remind me of the Byodo-In, a Japanese temple near Kyoto that was originally a residence of the Fujiwara Royal family---you can see a depiction of that main building on the back of the 10-yen coin. The buildings are nestled between rocks and pine forest, and it appears to be a late fall scene. Behind that is the typical misty Chinese mountain landscape. It has real vivid fall colors to it---I am literally infatuated with this cup. It has replaced my previous favorite coffee mug---which depicted a map of the London Underground and says 'Mind the gap.'
A keyboard and lots of notebooks and books ... who knows whats underneath. I clean this shit up, but that never works, cuz I need it close to me. I don't wanna have to go pick it off a shelf every time, and then put it back every time I need it, geez.
I'd have to disagree. That analogue stuff is just complicated. Things are just simpler when you just have 1's and 0's to worry about, that analogue stuff seems to involve way more trigonometry and stuff, with digital you mostly just gotta worry about boolean algebra and arithmetic, real easy 0 + 1 == 1, 1 + 1 == 10 /sarcasm
