I was a sub-contractor, making deliveries for Sam's Club and such for a third party company based off the Atlantic. I could make anywhere between 75-250 a job depending on distance traveled, what I'm hauling, and if I have to set it up, deal with shitty customers, etc.

Then I wrecked my truck, so now the headquarters blows up my house phone all day looking to have me make deliveries in a defunct truck and I decline and make 0.

Times are super hard right now

Only read the first page but this interested me because I push carts at Target. We have a cart machine too, but it is terrible and always stops for no reason. And I constantly bring in carts, if I stop for a while then it gets really low all of the sudden.

Also, when the carts are all filled up, I have to go inside, check the restrooms, collect abandoned items and hangers, do any carryouts if needed, and at the end of the day take all the defects to the back.

Yes, complain I will. Why? Because if I was making $10.40 I would be perfectly fine and love it, but I make $7.50. Now I really don't work that many hours(cause they barely give me any) but the other cart attend who is there most of the time(like 5-6 days a week, usually from 4-close) makes the same amount.

    Let's see.

I have two bachelor degrees. One in economics and one in education (including a teaching certificate). I also have my commerical falling ticket.

Last winter I finished my education degree. I spent my down time doing fall and burn for pine beetle trees when I wasn't doing my practicum. I made anywhere from 250 dollars a day to 500 depending on the snow/weather/topography.

I spend my summers as a faller on an initial attack firefighting crew. I'll usually make around fourty grand in the summer depending on how many fires there are. I just got back from a Yukon deployment.

This winter I'm teaching highschool english at a BC private school in China. The contract is for 46 grand for ten months, then I'll go back to Canada and I have a logging gig lined up for the two months of summer.

I do matched betting which has made me around £600 so far - for those who don't know what it is, it's a loophole which guarantees a profit which takes literally 5 minutes a day!

Don't have a degree I'm a couple semesters shy of one actually lol

    I make about $36K a year

I took a test and waited for an interview for a couple years while working other jobs

    40 hrs a week

I work for the state DMV fielding calls from people who work in the offices whenever they have a problem figuring out how to do something, or they need clarification on how something is supposed to work. I like it its never the same day twice and I get to use my brain a bit which is pretty cool.

I just received a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, but I'm taking the summer off to relax and enjoy myself considering I've been going to school all year round since Fall 2007. I am le fried -_-

Right now im just working a basic job and sadly not making much considering my dumb ass boss gives hours away to the new people like nothing and takes from our's. I've been applying to jobs that at least fit with my lifestyle so I can be happy working a regular job for now. I think I'm going to start with freelancing so I can manage having two jobs. I just can't picture myself routinely going to a professional job where i sit at a desk designing all damn day, but I'll eventually have to for a little to get the extra experience.

    I write and sell things.

My newest venture is working for a transport company. Its going pretty well.

I went to school for a few years and hated it. I might be returning, though, since everything requires a damn piece of paper stating you're "qualified"

Like I said before, I am a paid graduate student/ teaching assistant. Last week, I had an interesting teaching assignment however.

At my University, the incoming mathematics grads suffer through a greuling 6 week, 60-70 hour per week training session called GRIPS. I did it last year, and it was hard and awful. But this year, the tables were turned and I got to teach the newcomers! Luckily, I had empathy for them and didn't make it too hard. I recall the grad students who taught me when i was in GRIPS made it hellish for us.

Part time organic veggie seller in the summer and fall. Sell fire wood to campers during season and others in the winter if I dont run out. Help neigbor farm 80 acres. Sell free range organic brown eggs. Till gardens in the spring and fall. Rent hostel rooms or camp space to travelers (usually let them camp for free). Clear driveways of snow in the winter. Work part time in a factory for mostly the insurance. Sometimes trade weed for stuff. I make around 65k a year and still seem to be always broke. lol

I worked for this African guy at a gas station... ruby cash register. Easy job, people suck tho. They are dumb. I didnt authorize anyone because I dont trust people. I had one drive off, but it was a mistake by some old guy who thought his card worked. Good point is old people are more trustworthy. Anyway, I wouldnt mind going back to a gas station job.... meet alot of people that way

I say an African because he was first gen, had a spesific African mentality, some people may know what I mean. Not a bad thing, but proud, dominating, made me a subordinate/slave which is why I quit with no notice
