yes, you won't get argument from me about that specifically. and so is people telling people of other cultures, to pretend what their own culture tells them to. that's the problem with people who try to sell a religion like the were selling a fuller brush.
I just wonder how connected to the actual truth we're even supposed to be. Doesn't real spiritual knowledge detract from the human experience? I'm not sure we're supposed to know everything, though it is possible to know more. I just have a problem with knowing something that is untrue. Namely that there is no higher order. That human beings are the pinnacle of life. Not everyone even wants to know the truth or can handle it. It's too scary. It's too overwhelming. Just let people be happy living their lives, I think, but don't simultaneously tell them lies. But yeah, there are forbidden truths, just because it's unfair to the people who can't handle it. It's not their fault.
the human species is only the pinnicale, if you want to call it that, of life on THIS planet. this is a condition, which though it may be longer time the we usually consider, is neither inherent nor permanent. and if we destroy our species as we are doing physically, with how we treat our environment, we might very well be replaced on that pinnacle, by something with an even bigger and smarter brain, more complete and healthier soul, and pointy ears and a fluffy tail. if there even is such a thing as a pinnacle, which is only a way of looking at things. there's really no self inherent default for there to even be pinnacles in that sense. the unknown isn't inherently unfriendly, its just, unknown. and everything together, each having its own voice, is not unstructured chaos. neither is diversity being the nature of existence. not that existence itself, in a physical sense, depends upon that diversity. in a spiritual sense, each person's own experience is their own, not what someone else, has told them to pretend.
I have never denied there are any Gods, and am an apathetic agnostic. If there is a God or gods, I can't see what difference it makes. For me, what most people call God is nothing more than the self-evident truth, which requires no defense.
so then, why does this self evident truth of yours, or ours as the case may be, reguire a name, or title or defense, or anyone telling anyone else what to think they know about it? why deny, that a billion other possibilities then what any one of us thinks we know about it, also just as much exist?
They make good doorstops. Hang a sign around their neck that says "Homeless" and put a tin can in their hand.
I live longer because I don't live underground by accident and there's only a select few that can handle me, freak shit, I'm like an apparition of a poltergeist, blessed with a black heart that's cold as ice and not broken twice. So now I walk with an axe, decked all out in flannels and I see through contacts, straight maniac I'm like a warlock, Samhein to Salem's Lot, but y'all life sand's creeping through the hour glass ticking like a clock.
