i'm not the one who's making any claims. sure, i'll be the first to admit i know nothing about what is not known, and neither does anyone else. that's kind of the definition of being not known.
lol, yes, and there are things it is pointless to pretend that we do that we don't. but there is a point to avoid causing harm, because we still have to live with the harm that we do. as you say; "the evidence IS all around us".
There is much more to this life than some theory of relativity. What do we know about the beyond? Do we know what's behind the beyond? I'm afraid barely anyone has the mental capacity to even fathom what's truly beyond beyond.
we don't know what we don't know, whatever capacities we have or don't. but we can observe that we don't have to know anything for whatever exists to do so. its just that the limits of the nature of what can exist, if there are such limits, and even if there are, that too is unknown to us.
yes, i've read carlitos. just as i've read a lot of things. his trips may have involved teleportaion, or simply being transported while blacked out. i'm not denying the possibility of anything, only pointing out, that there are infinity minus one, other possibilities, then anything we think we know. (if anything, that may have been his whole point)
I do know something about God. That is, a higher order. We are all a part of a higher order. We are actually one giant being, but it's gross when you think about it, so don't. You think you're just speaking words, but really you're caught in this lattice of "coincidence." You can be talking to someone else, but I can hear the voice of a higher power speaking through you. Women are the best, because their chatter is like that of birds. They control all of this shit, just through chatter. It is intoxicating. And frightening. You can duck underneath of it all and just listen to the tide flow. I doubt any of you know anything about that. But there is a higher order. Call it God if you want. One day, unless science becomes an irrational tyranny, this will all be revealed. And there will be an oracle or two who can speak with the voice of God.
good, which is the avoidance of causing harm, is its own reward. no "entity" required. how is that, not even simpler?
Only problem is, with the pharmaceutical industry and the conformity, all shamans are diagnosed as crazy and dosed with drugs. So there sort of is a tyranny already.
really? where? how? i'm not the one denying that there might be a billion gods, or something else entirely, or that a stray feral cat might have as much of a soul as either of us.
