The way anti-aging science is coming along, we might all live a lot longer than you think. I'd be willing to wager that in the next twenty years there's something you can buy at Wal-Mart to increase your longevity to 150.
I should exercise more. But I have a very good diet, don't smoke or drink alcohol, apart from a rare wine or beer. But I do wish I had the motivation to exercise more. Heart disease runs on both sides of my family. Its a likely issue in my future.
Water Vaping instead of smoking. Been vaping full-time for about six months now. Exercise No sugar Less booze Vegetarian (though I want to cut down on cheese) Trying to lose some weight, I want to lose 14 pounds Having been a heavy smoker for many years I've almost definitely cut my life short now, but for me it's more about being and feeling healthy at the moment, and I've got back into cycling again and I'm enjoying off-road mountain biking for the first time in my life, having previously been a road rider in my teens and early twenties. Cycling is the big pay-off for me from having quit tobacco.
I'm very healthy with my lifestyle but not with the goal of increasing my time here, more because I want high quality life. I think a lot of the things people assume are facts of ageing are actually ageing + lifestyle. Also since I eat mostly vegetables and rice most of the time, I don't care about lunch today being a cream tea.
Since I presume I'm dying by regicide, and I've yet to be named king of anything, I don't really worry about it.
I try do exercise every day Do something swim so days lift and walk others and few spin class here and there..I in 60 s To me heart and legs most important muscles to work on as getolder..use to do lot more like long distance running and shodokan..But injury's keep from doing them. And I miss both them sports a lot But?? just have keep moving
Not saying it will help you live longer but a good sex life helps you feel more alive (at least it does me) Also just enjoying what you do and all that .
Certain things are supposed to be good for you, but really, I think, they're just what's good for the masses. Most people are pretty much the same and want the same things. We're not all slaves to our biology however, something science will never understand.
i'm too interested in both. unfortunately, it's more likely to be one or the other. or neither, for some unlucky bastards.
Just remember, if you're living longer you're living older. The longer you live, the longer you might not be able to look after yourself you see. Or in a home. I guess on the flip side if you like bingo then you're golden.
There's really no way to gauge who is living, let's admit. As far as intensity of experience goes, one could, by sheer psychological disorder, experience something way more intense than someone who is, at the same moment, skydiving from twenty-thousand feet. It's all relative.
I think your heart and body only good for certain number years..You can t do any thing to live longer .But can do things to shortin your life
I think most people are genetically wired to live a certain lifespan, and you can take action to prolong or shorten those years, but only within a small amount. Say, for example, that you are born with the ability to live to between ages 80-85 (maybe the spans are longer or shorter, but just assume it is roughly that). If you take shit care of yourself, you might live to 80, and if you do everything "right", you may make it to 85. But you have to wonder--what is the quality of those 5 extra years? Are you in a nursing home, doing crossword puzzles, eating mashed potatoes, and staring out the window, waiting? Or are you active and relatively healthy? Are the sacrifices of long term healthy living worth the increase in life span? And you might just get hit by a truck anyway. I dunno, there is a lot to think about.
