What do u think of those anti-drug commercials?

It is pretty lame, because if they're trying to talk about the dangers of weed, why are they showing the danger as being angry moms? These ads could just as easily be for driving underage, or drinking underage, or stealing, or whatever.

 

Well here in good ol Britain we used to have a commercial that has a band marching along they round a corner but one of em keeps walking then it has its kick ass slogon "high for a night, slow for a month" lmao thats more of an encouragement in my eyes.

the best one has got to be wen the karate man spends ages preparing to chop this wood in half doin all this karate stuff then wen he goes to chop it he hits the end of the wood an the other half shoots up an hits him on the head........funny as hell to watch stoned

 

Ahahaha! I've never seen that one before. Fuck that kid! I think that Americans would be a bit afraid to show that on a commercial. I agree with Brandon on this one. The worst part is, they can't prove anything empirically (atleast not what they're trying to prove) about Marijuana, they tried 50 years ago and couldn't, so they use speculatory situations that couldn't be empirically proven, simply because they know that teenagers are dumb enough to fall for spin-doctoring. Kind of like those fucking "TeensforBush". They spout the party's catch phrases to you on the street, but when you ask them to give them depth they're like "um...". But, it's okay, I mean these commercials are meant to keep teens off of drugs, which is a good thing. They're not emotionally mature enough to be smoking, usually. My only argument is that they shouldn't insult my intelligence by putting these stupid fucking commericials on channels I watch with a target demographic of young-adults and adults. Keep that shit on Nickelodeon, the A.B.C., the N.B.C., the C.B.S. and MTV. Keep that shit off of my Independent Film Channel, Vh1 Classic, B.E.T. Jazz, Comedy Central and Gameshow Network you fascist pricks!

People aren't transformed into strange monsters or crazy maniacs when they're stoned.. its the opposite. people get freaking nice! a pox onthe snowball program too. trying to give us the truth to avoid drug abuse. yes, well, i'd like to hear their version of the truth. it's always someone dying of marijuana overdose ( yeah right) or smoking a joint then shooting some heroin a month later. i swear, i just don't trust them anymore. haha. their little plan backfired!
