What do the Brits think of the Beatles?

I have never liked the Beatles, although there are many other bands from that era that are among my favourites.

the beatles are boring i find...I dont see why they're so hyped up.. There's much better music about. Sure they have done some good songs but nothign remarkable...

haha noooo way... zappa was excellent, but no way as good as floyd

 

I used to love the beatles when I was kid back in the 60's. Now, I find them incredibly boring, except a few songs.

I think comparison of the beatles with the likes of floyd or zappa is pretty irellevant though, as they came out of a different scene and were big much earlier on. In a way, the beatles helped create the whole ethos of the mid-sixties where people like floyd could come into their own.
