Its all about dessert man. ,,but I am not vegan and most the desserts have dairy :)
Thanksgiving we go visit a few people-THEY have turkey.
Mom usually makes me some veg stuffing- then theres mashed taters, breads,Momos asparagus casserole, various sides. This year we are thinking of briging green chilli cream corn- and then most important theres all the pies, cookies , and cakes - loads. And we end up coming home with a fridge full of leftovers.

Xmas is the same..but with much more chocolate and candy.

My family has never cooked a big meal for Christmas. In fact last year was the first time we cooked and I hated it.

Thanksgiving was the only time I used to visit and eat with my extended family.

    poor baby animals!!!!

I must admit when I used to eat meat (really young kid, I was a huge meat eater, I'd eat grilled chicken with the skin and all) I used to really love baby sheep and baby cow.

This is why I feel so suffocated sometimes. The bigness of my family, and the closeness. But its also a very good thing.

    delicious and tender!

i dont have any issue with eating younger animals instead of older animals.

but i have heard terrible things about veal.

thing is, i AM sometimes bothered by the conditions in which farm animals are raised.

    it can be rather cruel.

but i dont have an issue with killing for food, and i dont think young animals are any worse to eat.

Haha ! Its a good thing you don't have a beer belly :p

I don't like chicken wings. When it comes to chicken, I only eat chicken breasts.

same. I have one of those very big, very loud, hilarious families. honestly - I'd be nervous to have a boyfriend over for thanksgiving because they are all just so in your face haha.

they are great though. three of my cousins just moved out to Cali and my sister is in NY now, so it's sort of like we keep getting smaller. it's sad :(

I've never EVER heard of boxing day though... lol
