most of all.. people want a good pair of breasts. Men want them to look at, Girls want them to be looked at. also to mention, they are a vital source of nutrients to newborns. so even starving Ethiopian children want them.

validation / attention / not being alone . . . all are aspects of something that can be more generally called social input. But notice this only satisfies the social needs of humans. There are people who have risen above this most basic level of ant-colony functioning and are after bigger fish, as has been pointed out.
